Bethany is my built in best friend and older sister by seven years. If she hadn't wished for a sibling 23 years ago I probably wouldn't be standing here today. She is everything that I aspire to be and I couldn't thank God enough for such a wonderful sister. Although we have had our fights and arguments I still love her the most at the end of the day. I am so glad that I have a role model like her to follow.

William is my older cousin who played a big role in shaping me into the person I am today. He was the big brother I never had, and always treated me like one of his younger brothers. From skateboarding, getting me into wrestling, coaching me, and even helping me get into the fire department. Thank you Wil for everything you have done for me and continue to do for me!

Breeann is Brayden's younger sister by two years. Like any sibling duo, they have their moments but the love they have for each other is undeniable. I met Breeann when she was just 16 years old and I have watched her blossom into the beautiful woman she is today. As she grew, so did her strength and character. Her heart and humor are my two favorite things about her and I am so lucky and excited to be gaining a younger sister like her.

Kent is our brother-in-law and another person who has given me advice and encouragement. Kent is always eager to lend a listening ear and a helping hand. All the conversations we had while running together will always be cherished memories. Thank you for the late night talks and the wisdom that you have shared with me!

Britney is William's wife and is a key member of the family. From planning family get togethers, to looking after all of the brothers, sisters, and cousins. Britney and Wil played major roles in Brayden's upbringing and we look up to the both of them as older siblings. Watching her become a mother has also been incredibly inspiring as she continues to display such genuine love towards them and everyone in her life.

Megan is the most hardworking and dedicated individual I have ever met. From the moment she took over IDA she has strived in the most amazing ways. Yes, she is the fiancee of Waylon (Brayden's cousin) but she has also grown to become one of mine and Brayden's closest friends. Having her there at every family get-together is also definitely a bonus.

Waylon is the same age as me and we have done almost everything together since we were young. From paddling to wrestling to even being in the same fire recruit class together. Thank you Waylon for always being my drilling partner and brother I can rely on to work together through everything!

Kaitlyn is Dukes wife who we met when Brayden, Waylon and Duke were all in the same firefighter recruit class. Getting to know Kaitlyn and hanging out during recruit class was so amazing and her and Duke are now a part of our family. I couldn't imagine a better friend to go through the life of a firefighter wife with. She is the type of friend who will always be there for you no matter what and continues to show up for the people she loves.

Micah "Duke" Peters-Valdez is one of my closest friends and has become a part of our family. We met each other in fire recruit class and have been good friends ever since. I will never forget my first week of recruit class and training together on weekends just trying to survive bunker gear workouts. Thank you Duke for all the late night hangouts and various memories we have made together!
