This charming Idaho town, just a 40-minute drive from Pocatello, is a summer destination known for its natural hot springs. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming at the water park, floating down the Portneuf River, or relaxing in the year-round hot springs. A stroll along Main Street is a must, with delicious pizza at The Royal and sweet treats from the local ice cream parlor. Brook has fond memories of growing up visiting Lava Hot Springs, where her grandparents lived and were deeply involved in the community. Following their example, she often joined in local events, such as selling fireworks for the 4th of July to support the town's fireworks show, working concessions at the annual rodeo, and helping serve meals at the community and senior center.
Pocatello's local ski area and the wedding venue. It is a small ma and pop resort but they say if you can ski at Pebble, you can ski anywhere. We will be setting up for the wedding the days before but you are welcome to enjoy the wildflowers and can even hike up the switchbacks to enjoy the view of the Portneuf valley.
3-4 hour drive from Pebble Creek. Need I say more?!?
