The Wedding Website of Brook Chilton and Rhett Harms
Question

Wedding colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors will be inspired by the beautiful wildflowers in the area, reflecting the vibrant shades of the color pallet in the photo above. These bright and lively hues will be woven throughout our decorations and attire, celebrating the natural beauty around us.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For our outdoor wedding in June at a ski resort in the Idaho Mountains , we ask our guests to dress in western cocktail attire. The wildflowers will be out so get festive and embrace the bright and vibrant colors. As the temperature will drop when the sun goes down, we recommend brining layers like a jacket or shawl to stay warm. Also ladies, wear a chunky heel because there will be uneven terrain and grass.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In Idaho, June typically brings warm days and cool evenings especially in the mountains. Expect daytime temperatures in the 70s ad 80s, with cooler nights that may dip into the 40s or 50s. Rain showers are not uncommon, so consider brining a raincoat just in case. You might not need it though with all of the dancing you will be doing:) but I would bring one just in case!

Question

Is the ceremony and reception outdoors?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for walking on grass or uneven terrain.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Cocktail hour starts at 5:15pm and the ceremony starts a 6:00pm

Question

Plus-Ones and children

Answer

If you didn't receive a plus one but would like one just reach out to us to let us know so we can adjust the guest list! Children are welcome, we will have a kids table to entertain them.

Question

Where to stay

Answer

There are plenty of Airbnb's in the area and hotels in Pocatello. If you are feeling adventurous you can camp at the ski resort. Either bring your camper and park it in the parking lot or you can set up a tent.
