Dacha Beer Garden

Because it's DC! If walking the 5 mile loop seems like too much for one day, consider renting electric scooters or bikes to take the express tour, and be sure to stop by the Lincoln Memorial steps, where we got engaged!

National Mall

Looking for some outdoor time? Consider running, biking, or longboarding (if you're like Brad) along the C&O Canal, or recreate one of our favorite dates and go kayaking in the Potomac!

Georgetown Park

Our top recommendation to satisfy your sweet tooth, complete with cupcakes, cookies and coffee. (vegan and GF options too!)  Yes, in our opinion, it is far better than other, more famous, cupcake places in the Georgetown area.

If you're interested in trying some new food, this is an international food market with a ton of options! Some of our favorite pop-ups in Union Market include ArepaZone, District Fishwife, Rappahanock Oyster Bar and Puddin' Southern Comfort.
