Hotel
This is a 10 minute walk to our venue and we're convinced that you won't have trouble finding street parking for free (huge perk!) but there is no-access garage available for $55/day. Must reserve rooms on or before April 29 to be guaranteed the discounted rate of $209 for Deluxe Queen or $239 for Deluxe Double Double (not including taxes and fees) for one or two nights during the weekend of June 14 - 16. The hotel will honor this rate if you would like to begin your stay earlier than Friday or extend after Sunday but to do so you must call (212) 596-6972 during business hours, ask for Sherene or Clive, and mention our code BROCKEM. 3:00 pm check-in, 12:00 pm check-out.

Hotel
This hotel doesn't do group reservations so we don't have a code for you to use with them. You'd just make a reservation through their website individually. It comes recommended for cleanliness, has all the basics, and is a 5 minute walk to the venue. No guarantee on availability but is an inexpensive option.
Flight
The easiest airports to fly into are LGA and JFK which give you about a 30-45 minute ride into Manhattan. Alternatively, Newark is an option but not as convenient.
Travel Note
If you are planning to drive into the city and reserve a room close to our venue in the Upper West Side neighborhood of Manhattan it is nearly 100% likely that you will find free street parking. This is one of the advantages of booking with a hotel in the neighborhood. If you are considering a hotel in midtown you will have to pay for garage parking (approximately $55+/day) and subway rides ($2.75/one way) which impacts the cost/benefit of a less expensive hotel room in another neighborhood than the UWS. Please ask us if you have any questions about parking or neighborhood boundaries.
Train
If you want to explore the city, the MTA is the easiest and cheapest way to do it. A one-way ride is $2.75. If you're staying for just the weekend, our suggestion is to buy a card at a kiosk in the subway station and just add money as necessary. It's most likely not cost effective to purchase a 7-day pass but check out the website and see what works for you!
Travel Note
Recently NYC changed some things and so most likely all of the cabs and car shares are about the same price. If you haven't hailed a cab before give it a try!
Travel Note
If you're coming from the south of NYC, buses are a great, inexpensive options and typically are very reliable. Amtrak (train) is certainly more expensive but a smoother and faster experience.
