Areas to stay in

Please note that the ceremony will be held in downtown Knoxville, and the reception will be held a little further away in Loudon, TN. Downtown Knoxville (most popular choice) This is the most convenient area with walkability to restaurants, bars, and venues like Market Square, Gay Street, and World’s Fair Park. It’s also the easiest area for groups staying together. Hotels here include places like Crowne Plaza Knoxville Downtown University and Hyatt Place Knoxville / Downtown. This is the best option if you want everything close by and a lively atmosphere. Cumberland Avenue / University of Tennessee area A little more energetic and college-town feel, but still very close to downtown. Good for guests who want walkable access but slightly more budget-friendly options. You’ll still be just a few minutes from the main downtown area and event spots. West Knoxville (Turkey Creek / I-40 corridor) This area is about 15–25 minutes from downtown and tends to be quieter, more suburban, and full of newer hotels, restaurants, and shopping. It’s a great option if you prefer easier parking, lower rates, and a calmer stay. A popular option here is Drury Inn & Suites Knoxville West. Papermill / Cedar Bluff area (midway option) Sits between downtown and West Knoxville. It’s convenient for getting around the city without being in the middle of downtown traffic. Lots of standard hotels and easy highway access.
