FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’ll be getting married in a Catholic church, followed by a barn reception—so think dressy but comfortable enough to celebrate (and dance!) all night. Semi-formal to formal attire is perfect (dresses, suits, or dressy outfits). Since the ceremony is in a church, we just ask that outfits be respectful (nothing too casual or overly revealing). You’ll be wearing the same outfit all day, so feel free to add a little rustic flair—boots are absolutely welcome! One small request: We’d love for our guests to wear color and kindly ask that you avoid black, as that’s what our wedding party will be in. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by July 31st.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Mass will begin at 12:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests are seated no later than 11:45 AM.

Question

What time should I arrive for the reception?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 3:30 PM for cocktail hour. Please plan to be seated by 4:30 PM for the wedding party entrance.

Question

Is there transportation between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Guests are responsible for their own transportation between Knoxville and Loudon. We recommend planning ahead for the short drive between locations, especially if you plan to enjoy drinks during the reception.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors. Parts of the reception may be outdoors, weather permitting. We recommend checking the forecast and dressing accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are specifically named on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with those listed.

Question

Who should I contact with questions?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions—we’re happy to help!
