I often describe Sandi as the funniest person I know. We met in high school and quickly became friends. Several years later we started looking at schools and then roomed together in college. Sandi is funny in a way I have a hard time describing. It's not forced or intentional, it's just her. We've had many of our date nights at her house where I leave nearly peeing my pants. I've watched her grow as a wife and later as a mother to two amazing kids. I can still spend hours on the phone with Sandi just like we did back in HS. Someone that i have no doubt will always be there and to think it all started in an English class.

Kirstin...Kuuurstin, it's even hard for me to type, let alone say. To me, she is known as Buttface, Butt, or BF. I don't know when the nickname started but it is here to stay and she embraces it. I've definitely known her the longest, she is my sister through and through. No one can deny we are different but I think as we get older we realize how much we complement each other. She is sun and heat and I'm snow and brisk days, she is competitive to a fault and I am laid back just here for the game. She was gifted with our father's sense of direction and artistic drive and I'm lost in a paper bag, drawing stick figures trying to sing my way out. But it works.

Karen was the very first person I met when I moved. My parents signed me up for a basketball camp at the HS the summer before 8th grade. Finally another tall girl! I couldn't wait to tell my parents I had made a new friend. Karen then had to destroy my dreams of knowing at least one person at my new school by going to private school that fall. But the tables turned the following year when she was the new kid & went to public school for HS. Reunited again! Karen is who you want to throw a party but ask her to throw a softball & you will be just as impressed. She is just fun, her whole family are fun people & have welcomed me into their family from the very beginning. She has settled down a bit as a wife & mother of 2 but just ask her to play any drinking game & she is always down looking for a win!
Dana Mirabella

Dana and Karen are a packaged deal for me. They are my people. It is not a party if they both aren't there. I met Dana through Karen I don't even remember how many years ago and we have grown our friendship in the last decade. She is one of those people it is hard not to like. I had the honor of being a bridesmaid at her wedding several years ago and it is one of my favorite nights. It was the first time Dana and Karen got to meet my new boyfriend Phillip. It was trial by fire for Phillip pushed into the deep end of a formal event but both girls approved of him by the end of the night and I couldn't have been happier that they liked this guy I was falling for.
AnnMarie Colandrea

Annie...sweet Annie...(ZBB reference right there). It all started in 2008 in drug rehab. I guess I should specify as clinicians & not as patients in said rehab. Another person I just have a ton of fun with. I have followed AnnMarie to multiple other jobs over the years, & she continues to push me to make the most out of this profession. If it wasn't for her pushing me to start a private practice we couldn't have paid for half this wedding! Her support and guidance have been unmatched. But when she is not guiding my educational & career moves she is the person I can call for anything. And she has introduced me to so many new things along the way. As a new kayaker, I flipped one of Annie's kayaks on the Hudson the day before my first date with Phillip. It all could have been different.
