Are children also invited to the wedding?

Answer

No, as much as we love your kids, we want our wedding to be a kid-free night for you!

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail or semi-formal wear. Please no white or ivory and no flashy red dresses. Our color palette is cool tones.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

This will be an intimate affair of approximately 50 people. A small gathering was intentional and very important to us. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that our ceremony be “unplugged” so everyone can remain in the moment and let our professionals capture the best shots. Once we are pronounced husband and wife you will have an opportunity to take photos for one minute before we ask phones to be put away again before we walk up the aisle. You will be able to take photos after the ceremony and feel free to use the hashtag #BrittLipWedding

Can I wear my favorite heels?

Answer

Of course, just know the ceremony will be outside on a paver patio. And the reception space has almost 200-year-old wood plank floors.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors if weather permits. Please dress accordingly for November.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! But please drink responsibly.

Will there be any Vegan/Vegetarian Options?

Answer

We will be having a buffet-style dinner with multiple options but unfortunately, there will be only sides that are vegetarian.

Will there be transportation from the Diamond Mills Hotel to the Steamboat Co. venue?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided for anyone that wants to hop on the shuttle before or after the ceremony and reception. Details are still to be worked out.

Why wasn’t I invited?

Answer

Brittany and Phillip had to agree on a limited number of guests. Unfortunately, that means there are a number of friends and family who won't be there on their wedding day as much as they would love to have everyone there. I’m sure they really appreciate your understanding and would be happy to see you soon!
