Old Market Square (Stary Rynek with City Hall)
Old Market Square - Home to Poznań Town Hall, the old city, and the heartbeat of Poznań. Great place for walking tours, pub crawls, restaurants, and seeing the more historical side of the city.
Lake Malta
Great area for water sports, cycling, & shopping (Posnania & Galeria Malta are beautiful malls close by).
Stary Browar and Półwiejska Street
Old abandoned brewery converted into a sophisticated shopping center. Great place to meet friends and grab some drinks.
Aquapark Termy Maltańskie
Fun indoor and outdoor swimming area with heated pools, water slides, and workouts.
Stare Zoo (Old Zoo)
Historical zoo built in 1871, great way to spend two hours
Nowe Zoo (New Zoo)
(Brittany’s top non-touristy pick) - Great way to spend 5 hours in a big, not overcrowded zoo ($6)
Imperial Castle Poznań
One of the top landmarks in Poznań.
Fort VII
The first German concentration camp established in Nazi-occupied Poland.
Park Cytadela
Big beautiful park right in the heart of Poznań that contains a military museum, a war cemetery, rose garden, and lake.
Soccer Stadium / Poznań Stadium
Get some European soccer experience! Please do not wear a green scarf saying "Legia Warszawa." It is a safety thing. Blue colors are recommended.
Opera House, Poznań Philharmonics, Blue Note Jazz Club
If you decide to go to the Opera House, we recommend seeing a ballet, rather than an opera since arias are going to have Polish subtitles only. The Opera House is a 10-15 minute walk from Old Market Square.
National Musem of Poznań
One of the largest museums in Poland and next to the Old Market Square.
Racetrack Poznań (Tor Poznań)
A unique experience of driving a sports car on a professional track. Prices are affordable (for example ~$150 for driving for 1 lap - 5km on the main track in Nissan GTR with a professional instructor sitting on a passenger seat). Lamborghini Gallardo costs $175.
