We're (finally) getting married!

He asked her to dinner, and she responded with 'how about breakfast?' Thus, their first date was at DC101s Kegs and Eggs at 930 club in DC in 2013 with a bag of bagels and a container of cream cheese talking while standing in line ~2am until the concert doors opened at 6am. (Scroll down to see a picture of literal babies taken on their very first date March 2013) Fast forward 12 years from their first date, and 5 years after Clayton asked Brittany's dad, he proposed 13 June 2025. He proposed at the same place where Clayton's parents were married at the Rappahannock Rivah house and he surprised her with all of her immediate family (and most of his!) in attendance to celebrate together all weekend. Then the excitement was magnified with their surprise announcement to their families of the pending arrival of baby Callum December 2025. This date and proposal are merely bookends in what has already been such a great love story with so much adventure and so many wonderful times spent with each other and with our incredible family and friends. We feel so lucky that are little family has grown so much over the years and has included Heffer, Chewie, Willy and now Callum; and all of our friends who have become family. We are so excited to continue our love story in celebration with those who we love most and to share the Cabot Plains with you June 2027. And while it did take 13/14 years, we think we're finally sure :)
