We’ve reserved Villa Baroncino exclusively for our wedding week, from Saturday, June 27 to Saturday, July 4. The villa sleeps around 50 people, and priority will be given to immediate family and the bridal party. As we get closer to the date and receive all RSVPs, we’ll allocate rooms and apartments based on group size, length of stay, and who knows who (to keep things fun and social!). Each room requires a minimum stay of three nights as part of our package. The wedding will be occurring on Tuesday, June 30th, so plan accommodations accordingly. Please note that not all guests will be able to stay at the villa, as space is limited. Once we have a clearer headcount, we’ll let guests know if they’ll need to arrange alternative accommodations. Hotel and villa recommendations can be found on the Travel page of our website (uploading SOON).
We’ll be sending out formal invitations soon, which will include the RSVP deadline—we haven’t finalized the exact date yet.
Due to space limitations, we’re keeping things fairly intimate. If you received a plus one, they will be named on your invitation. If you're unsure, just reach out—we’re happy to clarify.
While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you can join us for a relaxing and fun evening!
During this time of year, you can expect warm and sunny weather—typical summer vibes! Daytime temperatures usually range from the mid-20s to low 30s °C (that’s around 75–90°F), with cooler evenings perfect for al fresco dinners and dancing under the stars. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing, swimwear for pool time, and something a bit warmer for the occasional breezy evening. And of course—don’t forget your sunscreen and sunglasses!
Most guests rent a car for flexibility, especially since the villa is in the countryside. Taxis and private transfers are available, but can be pricey and limited in rural areas. If you're not renting a car, let us know—we may be able to help coordinate shared transport. ADD INFO ON TRAIN
The ceremony will take place indoors at Cortona’s beautiful and historic town hall, located right in the heart of the town square. Afterward, the reception will be held at Villa Baroncino and will be mostly outdoors, with a covered area for dining and dancing—so you'll get the best of both worlds!
Please let us know any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP. We’ll make sure there are tasty options for everyone.
Absolutely not! We’ll be at the venue from June 27th to July 4th and know many of you are traveling from far and wide, so we’ve planned a few events throughout the week. You're welcome to join as many (or as few) as you'd like—no pressure at all.
The villa (technically two villas) is located in a vineyard, it has two swimming pools, communal lounge and kitchen facilities, and a barbecue. More information can be found on the Villa Baroncino website via the Travel tab. Oh and there's also a lot of free wine!
Yes! The ceremony and reception will be black tie with a garden party twist—think elegant, festive, and summer chic. For women: Floor-length gowns or cocktail dresses in light, breathable fabrics; wedges or block heels are recommended for the garden setting. For men: Tuxedos or dark suits with a tie or bow tie. Feel free to embrace summer tones or classic black—whatever suits your style! The ceremony is indoors, but Cortona has charming cobblestone streets, so plan your footwear accordingly. Other events throughout the week will be more casual—so pack comfy clothes, swimsuits, and something for a cozy evening by the fire pit or pool.
Yes! We’ll be organizing transport from Villa Barancino to Cortona for the ceremony and back afterward. More details and timing will be shared closer to the date.
