Getting hitched where it all began!

Brie and Garrett both spent years at the University of Georgia, without ever crossing paths—no shared classes, no mutual friends, not even a fleeting moment of recognition. But thousands of miles away, in a hilltop town in Tuscany, that all changed. They’d both signed up for a study abroad program in Cortona. On the very first night, Brie was asked on a “date” by an Italian actor to see his production of Alice in Wonderland. Nervous, and slightly wine-fueled, she convinced a couple of classmates to tag along for backup. One of them was Garrett. By sheer coincidence, they ended up seated next to each other in a velvet-lined theater. Between whispered jokes and sideways glances, something sparked.
