We love grabbing coffee at Kru and walking along one of the nearby trails on weekend mornings. The trailhead for Spring Run Trail is a few minute walk away. It's an easy, flat, walking path immersed in nature.
If you're craving a good NY bagel, this is your spot! There's usually a long line on weekends in the summer, but they do a good job keeping things moving. Grab a bagel and coffee and have some fun looking through the shops on Broadway!
Experience the beauty and history of Yaddo Gardens right off exit 14 near the racetrack. Admission to the Gardens is free, and self-guided walking tours are available. The gardens are open Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Our favorite deli in town! Grab a hero/sub and drive over to Saratoga Spa State Park to enjoy your meal at a picnic table in the park grounds (we recommend typing in Geyser Creek trail into google maps which will take you to where the springs, geysers, and picnic tables are).
Seth's deathly dairy allergy has prevented us from experiencing Hattie's but we hear the chicken sandwich is to die for! We recommend grabbing brunch here or at Max London's and walking off your food coma in the nearby Congress park!
Experience the excitement of the Saratoga horse race track! Gates open at 11am with the first race of the day starting at 1pm. Admission is usually $10 or less with many restaurants inside the grounds. Catch a race before heading over to the party!
If you're feeling adventurous, head on up to Lake George village to grab a bite and walk along the water of our favorite lake!
