What is the dress code?

Answer

"Picnic" Attire Women: Feel free to wear shorts/pants, a blouse, a sun dress, rompers, sneakers/flats/wedges, any picnic attire of your choosing! Men: We're thinking shorts/pants with a collared short-sleeved shirt/polo and sneakers! Children: Whatever they are comfortable in! Everyone should plan to bring comfortable attire and weather-appropriate! Summer in upstate can be hot during the day and can get cooler in the evening. So plan accordingly!

Where can I park?

Answer

The park charges $10 per vehicle to enter the park. There are plenty of parking spaces for everyone available right at the Pavillion.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! There will be a food truck serving pizzas, s'mores, and salads. We will also have a variety of finger sandwiches available. The food truck WILL take special orders for food allergies! Ben & Jerry's will also arrive towards the end of the event and will have dairy-free options available.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! There will be a tap truck serving beer, hard seltzer, and hard cider. They will be at the event from 3-6pm. Please drink responsibly and either use a designated driver or schedule ubers to and from the event in advance!

Will there be non-alcoholic beverages?

Answer

Yes! The Tap Truck will also be serving water and lemonade and we will have coolers available with water, etc.

Should I bring anything?

Answer

We're providing food, drinks, yard games, and music. For seating, there will be picnic tables but please feel free to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on in the grass if you'd like to. Other than that, please just bring your good vibes and positive energy to the park!

Can I explore the rest of the park?

Answer

Yes! We encourage you to review the park layout prior to the event. The Orenda Pavillion is beautifully situated by the Geyser Creek Trail (located Southeast of the Pavillion) where you will find geysers and springs. The Hathorn Pavillion is southwest and has a playground (5 min walk). The Saratoga Performing Arts Center is north of the Pavillion. There are connected trails all throughout the park, so we encourage you to explore!

Do you need help with anything?

Very kind of you to ask. We are responsible for garbage clean up, so all that we ask is to please ensure all trash ends up in trash bins!
