It all began at the office bar in Soho :). We shared a drink with coworkers, but when the group decided to part ways for the night, we opted to spend more time together - grabbing dinner at our fav (chipotle) and bouncing around the bars of East Village for hours getting to know each other. Timing was on our side. Shortly after our first hang out, Seth moved into Bridget's neighborhood in Brooklyn (which was planned before we even met!). The proximity both at work and home brought us closer together. Seth shared with Bridget the excitement of new restaurants and adventures in the city, while Bridget took every chance she could get to introduce Seth to the amazing Adirondacks. We fell in love with each other and each other's worlds. After 3 years in NYC, we took the leap together and moved to Washington DC. We supported each other in building our careers and creating our life together there. When the pandemic hit, we spent a month in the Adirondacks as a much-needed respite from our tiny one-bedroom apartment in Northern VA. The calmness of nature in Upstate NY hooked us; we moved to the Saratoga area in October 2020 and never looked back. For the last 3 years, we've focused on making new friends, finding community, hiking, and getting outside. Most importantly, we adopted our sweet Remi who has brought us closer together and made us a little family. We chose to have our intimate micro-wedding in the Adirondacks after we spent time the last two summers exploring Lake Placid and the surrounding area. It holds a special place in both of our hearts.
