Summer is the high season in Central Oregon. The Sisters Quilt Show is also taking place the same weekend. We strongly advise booking your accommodations promptly. Given the remarkable popularity of the Sisters Quilt Show, lodging options in Sisters are in high demand and already quite scarce. We recommend Black Butte Ranch as an excellent alternative. While Redmond and Bend are slightly farther away, they are also options!

We recommend flying into Redmond Municipal Airport! Alternatively, you can fly into Portland and rent a car for the approximately 2.5-hour drive to Sisters/Black Butte.

Many of our family and friends will be lodging at Black Butte Ranch. BBR holds a profoundly special place in our hearts as it played a significant role in the early months of our relationship. It's where I fell in love with both Jack and Central Oregon. This is also where Jack's parents call home and the very spot where he chose to propose. Our wedding shuttle will also pick-up and drop-off to this location.

Day-of Shuttle Transportation

July 13, 2024 3:00 pm

Shuttles will depart from the Black Butte Welcome Center (13899 Bishops Cap, Sisters, OR 97759) with the first shuttle departing BBR at 3:00 PM and the last departing at 3:20 PM. Shuttle from the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge in Sisters (500 US-20, Sisters, OR 97759) will depart at 3:30 PM. After the reception concludes at 10:00 PM, shuttles will transport guests back to these locations, running as they fill up between 10pm and 12am. For those returning to Black Butte, the shuttle driver will make additional stops throughout the ranch to accommodate specific drop-off requests beyond the Welcome Center.
