Matron of Honor
I met Dani at a football game when were in the 8th grade and we quickly became best friends (I can't believe its been about 2/3rds of our lives). Dani has been my person through the awkward high school years, leaving home for college and then returning home for grad school, and into our adult years. Dani is one of the most patient and compassionate people I know. She is always there to cheer me on with my successes, or talk me down from my crazy, not to mention interpret my Megan-isms (you know that one song with the one beat that I liked that one time we were in that store). I couldn't imagine taking this next step without her by my side.
Best Man
Mark is my younger brother. We've traveled across multiple countries together as adults and kicked the crap out of each other as kids. We've shared some great experiences together and as an adult, he has grown into one of my best friends. Yet as you can see, his dress requires some improvement....he just loves those v-necks and open shirts.
Bridesmaid
Amber and I became friends shortly after we both started working at PTN a little over 8 years ago. We bonded over our mutual love of hiking, exploring down by the beach, paddle boarding, and wine tasting amongst other things, and eventually became roommates (Yay Bridgeseyer Manor). Amber is such a kind and passionate person. She has pushed me to grow (sometimes willing, sometimes less enthusiastically on my part) in so many ways over the years I have known her. I'm so happy to have her by my side as I take this next step in life.
Groomsman
Matt has been my best friend since freshman year of high school when we bonded over Del Taco (what else do friendships start over?). We've had adventures in the sky and underwater (he's held my hand in both those places, sometimes while wearing a skydress and sometimes a skintight (wet)suit....nothing weird about that?). We've crossed continents and countries together. Although his rocker outfit leaves something to be desired...
Bridesmaid
I met Jenn through Danielle (her sister) and she quickly became the big sister I never knew I needed. She helped teach me how to do my hair and make-up ("you put mascara on... great, go add 5 more coats"), and even though we could fight like sisters, there was no question that she always had my back. I'm so happy she agreed to stand up next to me while I say my "I Do's"!
Groomsman
Brian is my older brother who received the sad task of driving me to high school. We haven't always lived close together but everytime we've gotten together, it's like no time has passed. He's always been quick to offer help (and by that I mean get the next round at one of the 21st birthday parties for any of the guys in the family) or get the dance floor goin with Return of the Mack. But, we have to ask him to contain that feathered mullet for the important events...
Bridesmaid
I've know Jessica since elementary school (Go Lindstrom Lions). We grew up playing softball together, went through confirmation together, and eventually went to the same college. While we may not get so see each other as much as we like nowadays, living in different states, but each time we see each other again its like no time has past at all. I can't wait to get to share another one of life's milestones together.
Groomsman
Dan is my oldest brother. We have raced together (the real Batman vs Superman...), conquered many courses, and made many poor decisions in Vegas (or great decisions depending on your perspective). Dan is always quick to give and never ask for anything in return. He gave me my first fake id (and my second....) and didn't even make me buy the first round, but he also later recruited me into a crime spree on that trip that got him a new doormat. That fro though....a definite scar on the family name (which is really hard to do....).
Bridesmaid
Jessi is my soon to be sister-in-law. I've been so happy to get to know her through the time I've spent with Kevin's family... family dinners, girls spa days, and Christmas in Hawaii. She is a fierce competitor when it comes to Phase 10 and Yahtzee and has forced me to keep my competitiveness in check (And no... I have never cheated in a game with Kevin's family). I feel so blessed to have been welcomed so enthusiastically into their family.
Groomsman
Adam is my soon-to-be brother-in-law whom I met around 11pm after my third date with Megan and he was half-asleep. I'm sure he never expected that to go anywhere....but since he saw me again, he's always been quick to include me in the group and always up for a fun time. We've stayed up far too late in Vegas, partied way too hard at New Years, and it's all just getting started. He has a genuine excitement for posed photos, especially while rocking orange pants.
