Yes - like all of you - we are so tired of this pandemic. At this time, the wedding is still on and expecting about 100 guests. We will maximize use of the current venue's outdoor area, including for the dance floor! We regularly assess the situation and will let you know of changes. We completely understand and recognize everyone's comfort level is different. Also, if you initially indicate that you plan to attend and something occurs that makes you feel no longer safe attending, we will understand that as well. We are also ensuring that all guests are vaccinated. We'll be reaching out to all invitees to check vaccination status, or you can let us know using the RSVP page on this website, and then we won't bug you!
We have made the difficult decision of limiting our wedding to individuals who are fully vaccinated and up-to-date on boosters (with the exception of nieces and nephews who are too young). If we have not already reached out to confirm your vaccination status, we will be doing so in the next few months. You can also let us know using the RSVP function on this website, and then we won't bug you! For those whose vaccination status keeps them from attending the wedding, please know this is a terribly hard decision for us to make, and we graciously request your understanding. We hope this does not negatively impact our bond with you. Please know we value your friendship and will miss seeing you there.
We realize some people may not yet be eligible for the booster because of a prior infection or because they received their first 2 shots within 5 months of the wedding. This is considered up-to-date, and we hope to see you.
Unfortunately no. We are asking all guests to be vaccinated for the safety and comfort of other guests.
Uber and Lyft are still both available in Nashville and are great ways to get around. We have noticed that prices have crept up a bit in the pandemic, but you can also use the schedule ahead function to ensure a timely ride. If you drive or rent a car, we will have free valet service at the wedding venue.
We love your kids and (now more than ever) we know it's tough to get a night off. However, we have limited the guest list to our daughter and nieces and nephews only. If you are bringing your kids to Nashville and need a babysitter for during the wedding, let us know and we can help!
We've secured a couple of room blocks, which you can view on the Travel page, but you are welcome to stay wherever you'd like. There is an active AirBnB scene which allows you to take in different parts of the city!
Valet service will be offered, and there is some limited street parking too. Uber and Lyft are also available.
There are many Catholic churches in Nashville, but one we may recommend is Christ the King (ctk.org), which hosts Sunday morning masses at 8:30am & 11am. (Please check times before arrival in case they have changed.) Christ The King Catholic Church 3001 Belmont Blvd. Nashville TN, 37212 615-292-2884
At our wedding, the only bad dancing you can do is not dancing at all, so get out there and have fun.
Zach Brick does have a nice ring to it.
There will be no horse-related re-enactments, cranium-agnostic. If you want this inside joke explained, ask Jules.
You caught us. After rescheduling the original wedding and with lockdown looming, we eloped on March 20, 2020, so we've been legit for almost two years now. Even so, we've decided to keep our original wedding ceremony as planned with only minor changes. So, although this is a 2-year wedding anniversary party, we're still considering it our wedding, too.
Using the RSVP page on this website, you can let us know if you're planning to attend and your vaccination status. If you'd prefer, you can also email or text us at brickkatherine [at] gmail or zdblair [at] gmail. Thank you!
However you like, just don't call her late for dinner! (Right, dads?) Truly, it's pronounced like Shavon or Shivonne. If that didn't help, give it a google! It's an Irish name with an Irish spelling, so we know it can be tricky.
