FAQs

Question

WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD WE FLY IN TO?

Answer

The airport on St. Thomas is Cyril E. King Airport (STT).

Question

WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK?

Answer

ASAP! The island fills up quickly, so to make sure you have the best options and price ranges, book now! Many villas and condos rent via Air BnB or VRBO.

Question

WHERE DO WE STAY?

Answer

We recommend staying on the east side of the island. The most common area is Sapphire Beach. The Royuk's and the Bacon's will be staying near Peterborg Peninsula. There are numerous places to rent in that area as well. If you want to be closer to Sapphire Beach and the Red Hook area, check out Two Sandals Bed and Breakfast, Crystal Cove Beach Resort, Elysian Beach Resort, Secret Harbour, or Marriott Cove.

Question

HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO STAY

Answer

This is up to you! The wedding will be on Thursday, January 29th, 2026. You can stay for 1 night or 20. This is YOUR vacation too!

Question

WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?

Answer

You are welcome to join us at the Sunday Soiree and the Welcome Party! Otherwise, this is your vacation and you are free to do whatever activities you'd like.

Question

HOW DO WE GET TO THE VENUE?

Answer

There will be 2 pickup locations the day of the wedding: The Sand Dollar Estate & Sea View Villa in East End. Transportation will depart at 4PM sharp! Please don't be late! If you are staying near the Peterborg area, your pick up spot is the Sand Dollar. If you are staying in the Red Hook area, East End, or anywhere else on the island, your pick up is the Sea View Villa. Reference the"Schedule" page for the addresses of these locations.

Question

Island Tips

Answer

Many taxis and other local businesses use cash only. There are ATMs available, but I would not count on relying on your card for the entire trip. Keep in mind, reef-safe sunscreen is required in the USVI. Avoid the "Toxic 3 Os":Oxybenzone Octocrylene and Octinoxate. Aerosol SPF is frowned upon. Watch out for No See-Ums! Products recommended include "Skin So Soft" or Deet-based bug repellants. These bugs are very tiny sand fleas that thrive in the shade so it's best to avoid the beaches dusk to dawn.
