January 2015- Sharing their unique passion for circus arts, Brian and Michelle both joined Illinois State University's Gamma Phi Circus, although they never performed at the same time their mutual friends and this program brought them together. April 2016- Brian and Michelle took a long drive to Missouri where the couple purchased their gooseneck trailer to begin their dream of designing and building a tiny home from scratch. February 2019- Was the year for adventure! Michelle quit her job in the wedding industry, Brian paused his business and the two traveled to SouthEast Asia with their friends Megan and Phil. They started in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where they purchased motorcycles and traveled west through Cambodia to Thailand for a whole month. July 2020- The tiny house is now completed and needed to be relocated from the build site, this required the purchase of their international big red truck. Tensions were high as the house took its maiden voyage north to Barrington. The trip was a success and Michelle and Brian began their tiny house life. December 2020- After months of searching for a furry companion, Brian and Michelle came across not one but two inseparable mini doxie brothers. Hugo & Pisco stole their hearts and found their furever home. February 2021- Brian popped the question during dinner at Maple & Ash in downtown Chicago! He later surprised Michelle again with an engagement party held at her best friend, Lexi's house where they gathered close friends and family to celebrate. April 2021- Brian and Michelle, together with Brian's sister and brother-in-law purchased 7 acres of beautiful land in North Carolina with the intent of starting a family homestead. In December, Brian and Michelle moved the tiny house over 800 miles to its new location where Brian stayed and they began their long-distance relationship. May 2022- Michelle and “the boys” (Hugo & Pisco) with the help of her father, officially made the move to North Carolina to reunite with Brian and settle into their new home.
