The Westcliff Lodge is the closest hotel to The Griffin House-- about a 5-minute walk. It does look a bit rustic from the outside, but they offer a wide range of rooms and rates, and the views are excellent!

Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa

A handsome and historic hotel, walking distance from the venue. The grounds and views are spectacular, but just note that with all the benefits of a lovely old hotel come some notable drawbacks-- chiefly that the elevator is 100 years old and needs to be operated by a member of the staff. If stairs are a concern for you, definitely consider booking elsewhere! If not, this is a great option!

Hood River Hotel

A very cool, recently remodeled historic hotel. She's right in the middle of downtown Hood River, so this is a great option for those who want to walk around and explore the town.

Best Western Plus Hood River Inn

Located right on the Columbia River, with beautiful views, a delicious restaurant, great bar, pool & hot tub that overlook the river. Honestly does not feel like a Best Western and comes highly recommended!

Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River

A short drive to downtown Hood River. Has all of the amenities and comforts you expect from The Hampton Inn.

Columbia Cliff Villas Hotel

This is also walking distance to The Griffin House, though a bit pricier than the other options. Rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with beautiful grounds overlooking the gorge. When we stayed here, Michela forgot to log out of her Disney+ account on the TV, so if you're in Room 6F feel free to watch as many episodes of the Simpsons as you want!

Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins

Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins is a truly special bed & breakfast located on the Washington side of the Columbia River. This option is a bit pricier than some of the others, but worth it if you are looking for a nice retreat for you and your partner. The proprietors are a wonderful couple who have filled these luxurious cabins with tons of thoughtful touches to enhance your stay. Important to Note: *The cabins are located approximately 25 minutes west of The Griffin House, so you will need to drive to/from Hood River. *You will need to cross a toll bridge ($2) to/from Oregon. *A delicious breakfast is included with your stay. *Carson is somewhat secluded, so you will need to drive to any activities or destinations that you plan on your own.

Skamania Lodge

Skamania Lodge is a full-service hotel located on the Washington side of the Columbia River. Located approximately 30 minutes west of Hood River, you will need to pay a bridge toll ($2) to travel to/from Oregon. Skamania is a large hotel that includes many on-site activities, such as zip-lining, golf, hikes, disc golf, pools, hot tubs, and a full-service spa. It is also located minutes from Walking Man Brewery, one of our favorite spots in the area.

This boutique hotel across the river in Bingen, WA offers very chic hostel option if you're looking for a bargain/adventure. They also offer traditional rooms and cabins, but the majority of their accommodations are bunks.
