Featuring the most photographed lighthouse in the world! Also, this is where we got engaged :)
A cute Victorian style lighthouse with a big park and a view of Portland and islands across Casco Bay. Very close to our ceremony site, if you need a thing to do beforehand.
Take the ferry and rent a bike or stroll around the island. A fun half day excursion.
Excellent (crispier, Montreal style) bagels, breakfast sandwiches and home fries. We come here wayyyyy too often. A favorite.
Excellent (sourdough, fluffier) bagels that made Scratch locally famous. This toast bar assembles bagels and breakfast options from the original bakery down the road.
Pizza by the slice or pie. Our favorite. Get the Mashed Potato Bacon Scallion and thank us later.
Go for the crispy tacos, peach habanero margaritas, and 1000's of string chili lights on the ceiling. We also come here way too often.
Excellent BBQ, and walking distance from Laquinta. Best mac and cheese. Great beer selection.
The. Best. Ever. Eventide is famous for a reason and absolutely worth a wait.
Did you even come to Portland if you didn't go to the Holy Donut?
The best nitro cold brew on the SoPo side of the bridge. Worth a stop on the way to Fort Williams, etc.
Best coffee and cold brew in town. Lots of seats and parking at this location.
Beautiful tasting room, brewery tours (schedule in advance), excellent beer! One of many breweries at Industrial Way, (Definitive, Austin Street, Battery Steele, Foundation are all worth a stop), but this is the one that started it all.
One of our favorites. Solid spot to do some brewery dog watching.
Another favorite. (Probably Jamie's favorite, or Top 2). Best option for farmhouse / saison style ales, and a cool tasting room with a Duckfat food window (fries/poutine). Drool.
Our bar of choice. Always where we have our birthdays. Perfect for beer nerds, but you don't have to be to love it. Tons of outdoor tables.
