We're getting married!

Jamie + Brian hilariously met on Tinder in May 2015, months after meeting at a concert while Jamie was out with a guy Brian knew. Jamie almost didn't "swipe right" when she realized the affiliation, but when she saw his photo holding a beer with a cream-cheesed bagel placed around the bottleneck (how genius!), how could she not? Then, he promptly bribed her with two tickets to see Guster at the State Theater. The show was awesome, and Brian threw the curve ball that he ALSO had tickets to see Death Cab for Cutie the next weekend (also sold out!) (and Jamie's favorite band.) The show got postponed, but the two were already out so they just kept hanging out... and hanging out... until the rescheduled show months later (Jamie would never miss a Death Cab show), and then it all became officially official.

The summer of 2018 was exciting and involved conversations of a proposal. It happened on the rocks at Fort Williams Park just after sunrise. It was a foggy morning, but it cleared and they could see a beautiful orange light shining on the Old Port across the water from their bedroom window. At Fort Williams, the morning light was bright, the fog was magical, and Brian got down on his knee (not the -broken- one) with a simple, perfect proposal with waves crashing on the rocks behind him. ~How romantic!~ And of course, the very next step was getting some bagels.
