Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Elizabeth Galer

Bride

Brian Neuens

Groom

Jennifer Galer

Mother of the Bride

My mother is the woman who taught me to see the sunny side of every circumstance, and the art of flexibility in going through my daily life. She is the one from whom I learned how to be a woman of faith, and how to persevere at things when life throws you lemons. She taught me gratitude and how to rejoice with those who are rejoicing and weep with those who are weeping. From her I learned that God is in EVERYTHING!

Craig Galer

Father of the Bride

This is the first man I ever loved. From him I learned to love music and the arts. I cherished the nights we would stay up talking about religion, politics, philosophy, and anything that pricked my interest. He is the smartest person I know and I always felt secure growing up knowing that he knew the right answers. Love you, Dad!

MaryAnn Neuens

Mother of the Groom

My mom taught me how to get along with everyone, be on time for things, to work hard and with dignity. I never could pull the wool over her eyes, hard as my brother and I would try. Love you, Ma!

Michael Neuens

Father of the Groom

My Dad also taught me how to get along with everyone, be on time for things, to work hard and with dignity. He took me fishing and taught me to love horses and the races. Love you, Dad!

Kirra Pope

Maid of Honor

The most heroically long-suffering and fiercely loyal person I have ever met. Fellow Lansing Eastern Alumnus, Convection Baker Extraordinaire, Social Justice Activist, Crazy Cat Lady, Lyric-Loving, Christ-Following, Politic Debating, All-Around Diva, and my very dear friend.

Anna Bloomfield

Bridesmaid

We were babies together and grew up as besties. She is basically my sister. The quiet smart one who always laughed at my jokes, and went along with some of my very ridiculous ideas. A quick wit and sardonic sense of humor, who always does the right thing, even when no one notices. All the guys in high school had a crush on her but were too afraid of her to talk directly to her--she has an AWESOME stink eye--so they would come to me to try to talk to her. Heeheehee! She will always be my besty and I treasure the history we have.

Bekah Galer

Bridesmaid

The tortured artist genius of the Galer clan. Her heart bleeds for beauty, and her insatiable curiosity is both her gift and her pain. She has always seen and accepted people right where they are and loved them. Her pores ooze nurturing motherliness, and she has always had a heightened 6th sense of awareness of the needs of creatures, be they plants, insect, animals, or people. At one time she was affectionately called "The Plant Whisperer." Her arena of expertise is in loving the marginalized, and I have been on the receiving end of that at various seasons in my life. She is my sister whom I love so much, forever!

Rachel Galer

Bridesmaid

She is the Spitfire of the family with a strong sense of justice. Always ready to be the accomplice in someone's scathingly brilliant idea. She's the little sister that Bekah and I waited and waited for after all those little brothers. I admire her very simple, but very deep and real faith, and am SO PROUD of the young lady she has become in spite of many obstacles.

Madeline Hanz

Bridesmaid

Teenage Niece of Brian. Cute, spunky, horse-loving, coon-hunting, fish-catching, beauty school acing, country girl ROCKSTAR!

Ryan (Rocket) Murray

Best Man

I grew up learning how to work hard 'n get things done following Rocket and my brother, Paul, around. Ryan's the guy that rode his bicycle across town to help my mother catch one of our dogs that snuck out running around the neighborhood, when Paul and I weren't home. He's always there when you need him; good or bad, you can count on Rocket.

Rob Kuehner

Groomsman

If there was ever a man you had to drag out of bed, that's our Rob. When he hits his feet to the floor, though, he has good intentions for all. Rob would always let me hang out with the older guys at his house, even when it was obvious that my big brother Paul and the others needed a break from kid-brother.

Chris Zmikly

Groomsman

I met Chris in the prime of our lives. I was in 6th grade, he was in 7th. We both had the great pleasure of being the "Dish Dogs," washing dishes for Dorozos Pizza. If that's not humble beginnings, I don't know what is. I'm glad to say we both made it out of that sweatbox alive. ;)

Brogan Johnson

Groomsman

I've known Brogan forever--childhood mischief in the woods, pond hockey, riding bikes, and then things we won't bring up--all this led to the two of us eventually being dubbed "The Killer B's." One of the Three Elites, another tough cat. KVC Championship Game, Brogan had the flu, was running a temperature of 102, and had a dislocated shoulder; but he kept us in the game by catching a 40 yard bomb. We lost by 1.
