Wisconsin State Capitol
You are free to roam the Capitol building and ascend to the observation deck that provides a scenic view of downtown Madison. A quick stroll off the Capitol Square and you can take a walk down the infamous State Street. Want to let your exploring spirit take you a step further? Find the City Bar sign, enter the doorway, and take the stairs down to the fine establishment Brian worked at for all of 6 weeks in undergrad!
Dane County Farmers' Market
The Madison Farmers Market is a Saturday morning well spent. Pro Tip... Go Early! Take a stroll around the Capitol Square and see all of what the producers of Dane County have to offer. Stella's cheese bread is a staple and comes highly recommended.
Memorial Union
No finer spot to enjoy a pitcher of spotted cow. Enjoy the scenic view of Lake Mendota alongside great people watching and potential live music!
State Line Distillery
Did we mention they make the worlds best coffee liquor? Go find out for yourself and you can enjoy great people and cocktails in the spot where Aryn has spent many Friday evenings as a bar back.
Working Draft Beer Company
When Aryn and Brian want a fine lager beer they look no further than The Draft! Neither should you! Enjoy our favorite brewery in Madison.
Starkweather Brewing Company
Aryn and Brian are lucky to have such a quality establishment a short walk from their home. Starkweather caries a diverse menu of beer styles, alongside some of the best chicken wings in town. If Peter is working, tell him Aryn and Brian sent you and ask him to tell you a joke.
New Glarus Brewing Company
The main brewery is currently closed and under construction(no tours currently), but the old brewery is still serving pints in town! Open on Saturdays and a quick drive south from our wedding venue!
University Ridge Golf Course
Want to get out and hit a quick 9 Saturday or Sunday morning? Enjoy the beautiful (and challenging) UW-Madison Golf Course! This is where the American Family Championship is held! Check out the adjacent Cross Country Championship course Brian runs around on for work too! Plan ahead and make your tee times sooner vs later!

Looking for a unique, free experience? Tour the Epic Campus! Epic is one of the largest healthcare software developers and is right here in Verona, WI. They are one of Madison's largest employer but is well known for their unique campus (bringing visitors from all over just to tour the campus). Schedule a tour ahead of time to secure your spot.
