Of course! Use #LevineLaVida if you post anything about the wedding- it makes it easier for us to find everything later!
YES! The limited Hawkesdene rooms have all been reserved. Please see the link below for a list of hotels and reputable VRBOs in the area that Hawkesdene recommends: https://www.hawkesdene.com/wedding-pdfs/Hawkesdene-Offsite-Accommodations.pdf In addition, we also recommend The Stonebrook Lodge and Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino and Hotel, which are both in the nearby town of Murphy, about 20-minutes away.
Of course! If you choose to stay offsite, you are welcome to join us for all of the festivities (games, hikes, fire pit, llamas, etc.) located at the Estate. Offsite guests may purchase Hawkesdene meals in advance. Breakfast, lunch, or brunch is $11.25/meal. Dinner is $81.25/meal. However, if you wish to come to the Estate for the entire day on Friday, the total will be only $81.25 for the ENTIRE DAY's worth of meals, snacks, and drinks (think of it as buying all-inclusive access for the day). **Please let us know BY AUGUST 1ST if you are staying offsite and plan to join us for any of these meals (so the venue can prepare enough food!). We will need headcount in advance, as Hawkesdene is not an on-demand restaurant. An email with more information has been sent to offsite guests. The reception on Saturday is on us, of course!
Sure thing! The Welcome Happy Hour and Dinner on Thursday will be "Garden Attire" (for those unsure what this means, there is a detailed explanation on the "Schedule" tab.) The Wedding is semi-formal (tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses). Both of these events will be outside, so maybe re-think stilettos.

Of course! We will have beer, wine, and cocktails for the formal evening festivities, but feel free to bring any beverages or snacks you might want for the times in-between!
It will be August, but it's also in the mountains! Temperatures at that time average a high of 85 degrees and a low of 60 degrees. All wedding festivities will take place outside, so be sure to pack accordingly. UPDATE: with hurricanes in the area, there may be a greater-than-normal chance of rain. They say rain is a good omen on a wedding day, but obviously it's not ideal. We recommend keeping an eye out as you pack and we also suggest bringing an umbrella or rain jacket if it looks like rain may be in the forecast.
We love your kids—we really do. But we also want our wedding to be your night (or weekend) away! We have decided to make our reception an adults-only event.
