"Lettuce Celebrate" Talent Show + Farm Dinner

6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Fun and carefree, costumes welcome.

What better way to kick off the wedding weekend than by showcasing the amazing and versatile talents of our community?! Talent Show communication will be handled by our masterful MC Dr. Josh Moddell -- sign up is totally optional!- so think about your song selections, stand up act, skits, dramatic poetry readings, flaming baton routine, or anything else you would like to contribute to this no-pressure, equal opportunity "talent" show. [Un-talents are most welcome as well]. A simple dinner will be provided at the farm between 6:30 and 7:30, and the talent show will kickoff afterwards.

Ceremony and Reception

4:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Summer Farm Cocktail Attire (choose footwear carefully- uneven and grassy terrain in the ceremony area). Sebastopol evenings can be quite chilly, so come prepared with layers. We will plan to have blankets on hand for folks to cozy up.

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to park and be seated, the ceremony will start promptly at 4. There will be parking attendants (friends) on hand to direct you where to park. Cocktail hour, dinner and toasts will take place outside next to the ceremony site. Outdoor dancing will commence following dinner. Note: there is very poor cell reception at the farm. Please plan accordingly and download maps ahead of time. Kids: We support parents to make the best decision for your family about bringing your kids. Our biggest desire is for you to come and have fun at our wedding, so do what makes sense for you! And reach out if you have any specific questions.

Sunday beach gathering

Beach gear

Let us know if you would like to meet up at Salmon Creek beach on Sunday mid-day, for some casual frisbee tossing, soccer playing, ocean plunge, or surfing. Bring a ball, a blanket, or your board. If you're extra-motivated, we could have a smaller biker gang contingent (it's 16 miles from the farm). Note: weather permitting. If it doesn't seem like good beach weather we'll reassess and meet at a local park instead.
