Key West has two main vibes: Old Town—the lively, historic heart of the island where the party never stops, and New Town—a little quieter and roomier, but just a quick ride from all the action. Old Town If you want to be in the heart of it all surrounded by historic charm, buzzing bars, and walkable streets, Old Town is for you. This is where you'll find smaller boutique hotels and cozy bed-and-breakfasts. Just keep in mind, Old Town stays lively late into the night, so if you’re hoping for some relaxing peace and quiet, it might not be the best fit. New Town If you're looking for a comfortable stay with classic, resort-style perks and little more space to breathe, New Town is a great pick. Most hotels offer free shuttles to Old Town or a quick 15m Uber/Lyft ride will set you back about $10-15. Check out Blue Flamingo to stay with your favorite soon-to-be married couple. But honestly, wherever you stay, you’re in for an unforgettable time in paradise!

There are plenty of awesome accommodations available in Key West, but we will be staying here at the Blue Flamingo in New Town. This resort-style hotel has lawn games, two pools, three bars, a free shuttle to Old Town, a Starbucks, and two casual restaurants on-site. There are also fire pits, live music, daily happy hours, cozy outdoor seating areas, and even a KARAOKE CABANA in a renovated Airstream trailer! While certainly not cheap, it'll be a little easier on your wallet than most Old Town accommodations, leaving you more cash for your tab at Sloppy Joe's.
