Some love stories start with grand gestures or fairy-tale moments. Ours started with good food, Old Style beer, and a walk down Mass Ave. Back in December of 2020, Kaleigh and Brett’s paths crossed thanks to the magic of modern dating (yes, we met online—don’t act surprised). After some witty banter and mutual appreciation for good drinks and great music, we decided to meet in person. Our first date took us to Union 50 for dinner, where conversation flowed as easily as the cocktails. But the night wasn’t over yet. Not ready for the night to end, Kaleigh suggested a quick walk to grab some Old Style beers at Fat Dan’s —a perfect test to see if we were really on the same wavelength. Over those beers, we laughed, talked, and slowly realized this was something special. The night ended with a kiss on the corner of Mass Ave—sealing the deal on what would become a relationship full of music, road trips, race weekends, and more dive bars than we can count. Fast forward four years and countless adventures later, and Brett was ready to make it official. To Kaleigh’s complete shock, he proposed this Christmas Eve in her parents' living room with the classic “one last present for you” line. The present? An emerald ring and a forever kind of love. Now, we’re getting ready to tie the knot in Key West—because if we’re going to do this, we’re doing it in style (and preferably with a drink in hand). We can’t wait to celebrate with you all—cheers to love, laughter, and never running out of things to talk about!
