Hotel
We have a hotel block for Friday 6/3 and Saturday 6/4 at the Marriott walking distance to our ceremony. You are able to book until May 6th. To book please use the VIEW button below. If staying here be sure to visit The Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
Travel Note
For AirBnb (or other hotels) we recommend these Brooklyn neighborhoods which are either near the venues or just a couple stops on the train: DUMBO Brooklyn Heights Park Slope Cobble Hill Carroll Gardens Gowanus There are many other fantastic neighborhoods, but these will be easiest for transportation if you are unfamiliar with the city. If you find something else but aren't sure about a location, we would be happy to give our two cents.
Travel Note
If you are staying at The Marriott Brooklyn Bridge, there will be a shuttle over to the Ceremony which will leave at 9am. If you are not staying at The Marriott, please take the subway (F or A/C lines) or take a car service (taxi, Uber, Lyft). More notes on both of these options below. We must emphasize: DO NOT DRIVE. DO NOT DRIVE. DO NOT DRIVE.
Shuttle
June 4, 2022 10:45 am - 11:00 am
Cars from the Ceremony to the Reception will be available around 10:45am - 11:00am. Our coordinator will make sure everyone gets there!
Train
If you are taking the subway to the ceremony there are two stations which are the closest, each about a 10 minute walk: - York Street Station, F Train - High Street Station, A or C Trains (exit through the Henry Street exit) *The subway often runs differently on the weekend- please check the MTA website or google maps prior to heading out to the ceremony. We'd hate to miss you because your train skipped the stop!*
Travel Note
This won't happen, but just in case! You tell them you are going to DUMBO, Brooklyn and give them one of the following intersections: INTERSECTIONS FOR DROP OFF: Dock Street/Water Street (near Butler Coffee) OR Main Street/Plymouth Street (near West Elm) You can see the Carousel from both of these drop off points.
Travel Note
IN NYC 2022: - Masks are required on all forms of transportation (subway, cab, ferry). KN95/N95 are best. - We HIGHLY encourage you to use masks everywhere you go indoors - no matter if it is required. We also ask that you be mindful of your exposure risk in the days before the wedding. - You will need proof you are fully boostered if you wish to enter certain establishments (or gather for a wedding!). You can bring a photo of your vaccination card, an accepted app like NY Excelsior, or your vaccination card itself. You will be asked for a valid form of ID to match to your vaccination record. For some fun and safe NYC outings see "Things To Do" for lots of outdoor attractions in our part of Brooklyn. There's also a ton of amazing outdoor dining (but consider making a reservation!)
