Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Kasia Kucharski

Maid of Honor

Kasia and Jaclyn met in middle school while auditioning for the Disney Channel’s Goofy Club — its follow-up to the Mickey Mouse Club. Neither made the cut, which ended up being a stroke of luck when a chickenpox outbreak sidelined the whole cast before the first episode. This close call brought Jaclyn and Kasia together and they later bonded over their mutual love of arson. Kasia owns the famous Polish delicatessen franchise, “Nice to Meat You.” She has opened eight locations in the Northeast United States and Canada. Her other passion is mushing. She is training with her pack of dogs — Brandon, Julio, Miguel, Colin, Betsy, Arlene, Aiden, Margaret, Frank, Emmanuel, Jane, Peter, Nancy, Trevor, Alan and Rick — to compete in the Northern Pines Sled Dog Race in Wisconsin.

Will Brennan

Best Man

While freshmen at Springfield College, Will and Brett’s paths first crossed at SC’s infamous Polka Club. They not only formed a lasting friendship, but also a band: Livin La Vida Polka — inspired by polka and the suave, cool melodies of the King of Latin Pop, Ricky Martin. Will, his wife Roseanne, and six girls — all under age 4 — reside in Bayou Pigeon, Louisiana where Will has earned a second shot at fame. He stars in The History Channel’s “Swamp People,” which chronicles his activities hunting alligators for a living.

Melissa Martucci

Bridesmaid

Jaclyn and Melissa met in high school while trying on soccer cleats at Dick’s Sporting Goods — a frequent pick-up spot for Melissa. As teenagers, they started a company called Zoom, which marketed a series of magnifying glass accessories designed to help people see the world a little clearer. It lasted only three months. Melissa serves as Assistant to the Northeast Regional Manager at Dick’s Sporting Goods. In her free time, she picks up friends and lovers at other Dick’s franchises in the greater New England area. She also enjoys playing darts at the Bach Dor Cafe in Chaplin.

Sean Sweeney

Groomsman

Great nephew to the Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II, Sean looked to escape his royal ties by attending Springfield College. Knowing very little English and down on his luck, Brett noticed Sean behind a transformer on campus and helped him to safety one night. A friendship quickly blossomed: Sean taught Brett about his love for cricket and Brett introduced Sean to basketball. Sean and his fiancee Danielle reside at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark. “The Institution” took away their passport, driver’s licenses and keys, so they don’t get out much, but when they do, they throw on fake smiles in the name of philanthropy.

Aryanna Diaz

Flower Girl

Using her 6-foot-4 frame to her advantage, Jaclyn’s niece became the youngest WNBA player in league history when she joined the Indiana Fever at age 6. She quickly found success, dominating in the paint against smaller opponents. But Aryanna surprised the world when she chose to retire to focus on her academic pursuits — mainly second grade. Ari also enjoys antiquing and even had a lantern appraised on Antiques Roadshow. It was worth $9.
