Things (coronavirus wise) are very much open in Connecticut for people who are vaccinated. Masks are not required at the venue (and in a lot of other areas in the state) as long as you are vaccinated, but we do believe servers at St. Clement’s will still be wearing masks. If you don’t feel comfortable going mask free, by all means do what makes you feel the most comfortable!
Our wedding will be adults only, except for our niece who will serve as the flower girl. On the bright side, all parents will be granted a night of revelry and relaxation. Take a night off!
Semi-formal! If the weather is nice, we will be having our ceremony outside. So for those who wear heels we suggest you go with a chunky heel or flats/sandals so you don't get stuck in the grass. Keep in mind it's in the middle of summer (sorry), so dress lightly.
We suggest giving yourself some cushion and arriving at least half an hour before the ceremony. We will be starting at 4:30 p.m.
Both will be at Saint Clement's Castle and Marina in Portland, CT.
Of course. Open bar too : )
Yes, plenty of parking. If you think you will be drinking a good amount at the reception (hey, YOLO), we urge you to plan for an Uber/Lyft or a cab.
Our ceremony will be outdoors if the weather is cooperating. Otherwise we will head inside. Our cocktail reception will be partially outside and under a tent. If, for whatever reason, you’re sensitive to the heat there is space inside the reception room and you can relax and stay cool.
