MEET THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT WILL BE WALKING DOWN THE ISLE WITH US.

Courtney Rigel

Matron of Honor

Seeing as she is my big sister, I've known her all my life. Courtney has been someone I have always looked up to. She has always been my voice of reason, and a safe place for me to land. She has been there through everything life has thrown my way. We have definitely driven each other crazy over the years. Kind of like the times where I would slowly get ready for school just to make her late on purpose, or when I jaywalked across the street when she told me not to and she said she would call the cops on me because it was illegal. I did these things because I thought it was hilarious to tick her off. But even through all of my stupid games I knew I could always count on her (and no she did not call the cops that day). I am so grateful to have a such a wonderful big sister and couldn't imagine anyone better to be my MOH.

Austin Lodwig

Best Man

Austin is my younger cousin, but only by a few months. You would honestly think we were siblings through seeing how close of a relationship we have. I really value all of the fun memories we've had together over the years. From being 5 year old's running around in Auntie's basement playing spiderman together, to being 12, staying up late talking about our crushes and playing games till the sun comes up. Now making yearly trips to the cabin to go fishing and talking all about life's ups and downs together. Austin has always been there for me no matter what the ask and Austin has helped shape me into the man I am today because of our friendship. I couldn't imagine a better person to be standing up with me as my best man on my big day.

Courtney Dach

Bridesmaid

I thought having one Courtney in my life was enough, but I was sure wrong. Courtney is my soon to be sister-in-law and I couldn't imagine life without her. She is my ride or die, my biggest cheerleader, and one of the best additions to my life. You will often catch Brett being the third wheel to her and I, because when the two of us get together we are attached at the hip. I would have to say one of the funniest memories Courtney and I have together would have to be when she dropped Brett and I off at his place after we were out at a friends party and I had too much to drink so ended puking outside his place. All you hear is Courtney yelling at Brett telling him how to assist me during this less than ideal time, but when Brett wasn't listening to her she jumps out of the car and proceeds to hold my hair back. Its a privilege to be able to call her my sister-in-law and I wouldn't change the bond we have together for anything. Brett and I are truly honored to have you standing with us on our big day.

Nathan Dach

Groomsman

You can probably already tell by his killer good looks that Nathan is my brother. Being an older brother by 4 years, the two of us didn't always have that much in common during the younger years of growing up together. Most of the time it was Nathan putting me in headlocks or me calling Nathan a name then running frantically to mom while Nathan chased me down. But during those times Nathan was always my protector, if an older kid bullied me in elementary school Nathan was never far away to teach that kid a lesson. We have since reached an age where 4 years is no longer a gap, and our brotherly love has become a friendship of compassion, love, and we are always there for one another when needed.

Ariana Dietrich

Bridesmaid

Ariana and I first met when I started working at Green Apple Hair Salon back in 2017. For 3 years I think she was the person I spent the most time with, we would work all day together and then hangout all night. Some of our favorite memories include, doing each others hair at work when we got bored, filming terrible social media videos for the salon, and driving around with absolutely no purpose while blasting our favorite music. No matter what we were doing together we always made it a fun adventure. Since meeting Ariana she has been a constant in my life, no matter what was going on I always knew she had my back. Ariana has to be one of the most genuine and kind people I know, I am so grateful to have her as my friend and bridesmaid.

Hector Ortiz

Groomsman

Hector moved to Canada from Mexico in Grade 9. The unlucky guy somehow found his way to Innisfail Alberta of all places and even more unlucky in a class with me. Just like Josh, at first I didn't like Hector. This is because he was faster than me and took the self proclaimed "fastest kid in the grade" trophy. Eventually I got over it and since then we have made many wonderful memories together. One of my favorites being Hectors first time going ice fishing and he had a fish he was reeling in, and as soon as Hector saw how big it was he threw his rod to my Dad and jumped out of the ice fishing tent. I am so happy we became friends and happier that we have stayed friends almost 15 years later. I was fortunate enough to stand next to Hector recently at his wedding and I am pleased to say he will be doing the same for me. I do think we are long over due for a race to see who now truly holds the title of the fastest kid.

Elyse Mott

Bridesmaid

Elyse and I met in bible study back in 2012, at this time her and I weren't overly fond of one another. Our friendship truly began in 2015 when everyone else went to college and we were the only ones left, so I guess you could say desperate times called for desperate measures. Since then her and I have been inseparable and I couldn't imagine life without her. If I had to describe our friendship in one moment it would be her and I wearing facemasks, eating popcorn, and watching hallmark movies (that is until Elyse falls asleep 10 minutes into the movie). Elyse has to be one of greatest blessings God has given me and I am so happy to have her by my side at the wedding.

Josh Dittrich

Groomsman

Josh and I first met in grade 10 science class. At first you could say I wasn't the biggest fan of Josh, mostly because he dressed like a rich preppy kid. But after a week I grew to love the preppy rich looking kid. So much so that Josh's house became my second home while I was in high school and college. I say this because I was almost at his house as much as I was at my own house. During this time we would go out to parties, play in the backyard and get up to other shenanigans as most young men do. The only problem is that when I would try to leave, Josh would hide somewhere in the house with an airsoft gun or lightsaber waiting to attack his unsuspecting victim (me). I still don't know if that was his way to get me to stay or if he had other motives behind it, but since then we now say goodbye with a hug and an I love you instead of a beating. Josh has grown into a very warm hearted, gentle, funny man and I can always count on him to be near if I ever need a hand.
