We met while working at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on the same team. Brennan was the quiet one, and he thought Becca was the "cute girl at work." At first, he kept to himself, too shy to make a move, but things changed when he got a new job at the Water Management District. Becca was curious about his work in environmental resource permitting, so she asked him to take her out in the field. During that trip, she saw him in a whole new light—he wasn’t just the quiet guy at work anymore. He was funny, easy to talk to, had great taste in music (played Jimi Hendrix the whole car ride), and was genuinely kind. Looking back on how everything came together — we went from being co-workers to building a life together and we are so excited to see what the future holds.
