We love this place! The Huntington includes 130 acres of various plants from around the world and buildings housing rare books and art. Definitely recommended if the weather is nice and you like long walks.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour HollywoodWarner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood
Cannot recommend this tour enough! You'll see movie and TV show sets, props, and maybe even a stray actor or two (MAYBE). It's especially fun for fans of Friends, DC superheroes, and the Harry Potter movies.
La Brea Tar Pits and MuseumLa Brea Tar Pits and Museum
The tar pits themselves are cool, but the museum is AMAZING. If you like extinct animal skeletons, this is the place for you. I (Brenna) love this place and almost wanted it for the wedding venue, but the whole outdoor area smells like tar so it wouldn't have felt as elegant, haha.
The BroadThe Broad
The Broad (rhymes with "toad," not "odd") is a very cool art museum and it's totally free! If you're an art nerd, there are collections of artwork by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, so check it out.
Madame Tussauds HollywoodMadame Tussauds Hollywood
This is a classic Madame Tussauds wax museum which is always fun! It's also right on Hollywood Blvd if you're trying to sight-see. Uber or Lyft is recommended as parking around there is a pain (and it honestly might cost the same as a ride share app).
Universal Studios HollywoodUniversal Studios Hollywood
This theme park includes Harry Potter, Nintendo, and Jurassic Park sections, but one of the best parts is the studio tour tram ride. However, unlike the WB studio tour, this one is only accessible to theme park goers.
DisneylandDisneyland
Who doesn't love Disneyland? Okay, plenty of people, but Kevin and I love it. Just know it's about an hour drive from Pasadena and will absolutely take up your whole day.
