Question

Can I bring a plus one?Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we want to celebrate with anybody and everybody, we unfortunately have to limit our guests! No plus ones, please.

Question

What should I wear?What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is formal—black tie encouraged if you love to dress up, but not mandatory. We're going with a subtle old Hollywood theme, so if you'd like to join in and are looking for inspiration, think of classic movie stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, and Cary Grant. For extra points, put on your best transatlantic accent. I'm kidding. But it would be funny.

Question

Are children able to attend the ceremony and reception? Are children able to attend the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please note that this will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

I flew in from out of town. Should I rent a car?I flew in from out of town. Should I rent a car?

Answer

That depends on how long you are staying and if you plan on going places outside of any wedding-related events. There are Ubers and Lyfts aplenty throughout the Los Angeles area but if you're planning on going to, say Disneyland, you may want to rent a car as it's about an hour drive.

Question

Will there be transportation to the wedding venue from the hotel and vice versa? Will there be transportation to the wedding venue from the hotel and vice versa?

Answer

There will be! Details TBA.

Question

Wait, wasn't there a huge fire in or near Pasadena back in January? What's the deal with THAT?Wait, wasn't there a huge fire in or near Pasadena back in January? What's the deal with THAT?

Answer

There sure was! It didn't reach Old Town Pasadena where our wedding will take place nor where the hotel is. You will not see any piles of rubble nor any other apocalyptic visuals in all likelihood. October is also not prime "fire season" and you can rest assured that most of the buildings around here are very, very old and have yet to be burdened by any natural disasters.

Question

Okay, but I'm from another state. Doesn't California get earthquakes?Okay, but I'm from another state. Doesn't California get earthquakes?

Answer

Yes, but it's fine! We get occasionally get earthquakes but they are—way more often than not—SO small you don't even notice them. Don't worry about it.

Question

What about landslides?What about landslides?

Answer

Stop worrying!
