We'd love for RSVPs to be submitted before Thanksgiving 2025. We understand that planning a trip can be time consuming, so if you need more time, please reach out to us. At the latest, we will need to have a guest count in December.
No shoes? No shirt? No problem! Okay, maybe those are required, but there is no formal dress code. Dress up or down, dress comfortably. It will be summer in the South, after all.
We welcome celebrating with your little ones, though the event has not been planned with them in mind. If you make the trip and would prefer a child-free evening at the reception, here is the URL to an awesome company called Southern Sitters that can come to your lodging and watch the little ones: https://www.southernsitter.com/ If you'd prefer the entire crew to be in attendance, we look forward to seeing y'all at the Granfalloon. If you have a question, email Brian at brdruckenmiller@gmail.com
Chattanooga holds a special place in our hearts. The first time we were here--staying at The Moxy Hotel, riding the Inclined Railroad, exploring the caves at Ruby Falls with only our lanterns, and stumbling upon the Choo Choo--was perfect. The following morning, the Tennessee River below our toes and the wooden walkway along the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge, we looked at each other and said the same thing: "I could live here"--a huge moment considering, at the time, both of us had different ideas as to where we should live once our relationship lost its "long distance" tag. The next time we came, we met up with Samantha (Brian's niece) and Jason (her awesome husband), and we enjoyed the aquarium's exhibit on river creatures followed by the best dining experience of our lives at Opa!, a small Greek restaurant on the Northshore. Five courses, bottomless house made wine, and the ceremonial shattering of plates followed by dancing, hand in hand with other patrons--strangers feeling like family for one single moment. We ended the night playing shuffle board with a drunk swinger couple at The Moxy's hotel bar. Now, it's become a regular stop for us. Maybe we'll live here someday, but for now, we're excited to share the Scenic City with our loved ones.
That's a doozy of a question. We believe we are here to make this place better, its landscapes and communities. The world is a magical place, and we exist to recognize this magic and find ways to contribute to it. And if we're wrong, the meaning of life must be to eat as much pizza as possible.
