Maid of Honor
Breanna is so excited to have her younger sister, Christine, as Maid of Honor. They have had many "Christine and Breanna Adventures" together over the years and are so excited to have Dan join these adventures.
Flower Girl
Breanna feels like Violet's "Aunt" and is so happy to have her be a part of the wedding! Violet's mother, Danielle, has known Breanna since 2nd grade and they have been friends ever since.
Bridesmaid
Breanna is so happy to have Jaclyn, Dan's sister, joining with her husband Tyler from Cincinnati, OH. Thank you for being a part of this special day!
Groomsman
Bryan is Breanna's younger brother and soon to be Daniel's brother as well! An avid soccer player and outdoorsman, Bryan shares many interests with Daniel, which made it easy for the two to strike up a mutual respect early on.
Bridesmaid
Alyson is Breanna's childhood friend (they have known each other since 3rd grade!). Breanna is still hoping Alyson will move next door and build the zip line between the houses like they talked about when they were younger (so sorry, Dan!)
Groomsman
Dave and Daniel met as Freshman in college as they took on the challenges of the Pre-arch in the University of Cincinnati's school of DAAP. Through living together on and off over the course of their undergraduate degrees and traveling to Chicago together for their first Co-op internships, Dave and Daniel cemented a hearty friendship. Dave still calls Chicago home today.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin has been there with advice and support for Breanna since they became friends in 6th grade, spending time watching their brothers play soccer together. Thank you for being there through the years!
Groomsman
Calm, cool an collected, Matt, Dan's college friend and flatmate for a time, always seems to have it figured out. Don't let his international secret agent status fool you though, this guy is one of the most down-to-earth and trustworthy individuals Dan has ever known. Matt (and his crazy awesome wife Liz) was also one of the first non-Portland friends that Breanna met through a series of shared vacations in exotic locations. Coming all the way from Singapore . . . or is it Tokyo now; it's hard to keep track of this citizen of the world, but we're happy that he could make the trip back stateside to see Breanna and Dan get hitched!
Bridesmaid
Jamie and Breanna attended PA school together, spending long hours studying as part of a study group dubbed "Anxiety." She has been great about keeping in touch even when Breanna hasn't and has been such a great support throughout the wedding planning process.
Groomsman
A former resident of the West Coast (Long Beach, CA) Dan was trying to convince Phill to relocate to the PNW, but he chose to put more distance between himself and his college buddy, settling instead in Boston . . . Dan hopes this doesn't have anything to do with the 'Sweet n' Sour Pork Incident' of 2007. He said he was sorry! . . . and he swears he's grown a lot since then . . .
Officiant
We are so honored that our Portland friend and Dan's former coworker, Hannah, has agreed to be our wedding officiant! It's all bound to be a bit more interesting with her in the mix ;) She might just end up leading all of the wedding guests in an impromptu yoga session if you'll let her!
Groomsman
People sometimes get creeped out by the similarities between Tim and Dan. Both grew up in Kansas City (though Tim was certainly there longer) and as such carry a Mid-western state-of-mind with them (don't ask me what that entails). Both are architects, living and practicing in Portland with a mild dose of OCD and a casual inclination to race rickety go-carts as fast as they can.
Parents of the Bride
Breanna's parents are visiting from Coeur d'Alene, ID to escort Breanna down the aisle. Anne loves new hobbies including knitting, gardening and bee-keeping, and Barry loves shooting and to take the boat out on Coeur d' Alene Lake. Dan and Breanna are looking forward to more outdoor activities in CDA with the family. Thank you for all the love and support!
Parents of the Groom
Dan's parents are visiting from Dublin, OH, but you might notice that they haven't always lived there. Sherry has taken to running in recent years and amassed an impressive array of medals to prove it. Meanwhile, Peter has been hard at work creating custom hook and tally boards to keep track of all of those medals for her. They probably wish Dan lived closer, but they couldn't be happier about the future daughter-in-law that he found for them.
