Hotel
Our wedding will take place at the beautiful Michillinda Lodge, a historic lakeside resort overlooking Lake Michigan. While we’d love to have everyone stay on property, space is limited, so not all guests will be able to be accommodated at the lodge. To make the best use of the venue, we’ll be handling room assignments and sharing those details with you in advance so you’ll know which building and room to book (a room assignment chart will also be uploaded to this page). We’re asking everyone to arrive on Thursday if possible so we can enjoy the full weekend together! If you’re staying on property, please note that booking is required for both Friday and Saturday nights. Friday will be a fun day full of activities and time together before the wedding, so arriving early helps us maximize our time with you. PLEASE NOTE: the link is for Friday/Saturday ONLY, if you are wanting to also book THURSDAY night you will need to do a seperate booking for Thursday night ONLY or you can book by calling Michillinda Lodge & letting them know you are booking for Brazis/Bressman wedding!
Travel Note
Hotel
For guests who are not staying on property at Michillinda Lodge, we’ve reserved a block of rooms at the nearby Comfort Inn. This will serve as our overflow hotel, and it’s just a short drive from the lodge. We are providing a shuttle service for guests staying here to make it easy to join us for the wedding festivities without the hassle of driving and parking. We encourage you to book early to secure your spot.

Flight
The closest major airport to Michillinda Lodge is Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, MI — just about an hour’s drive from the lodge. Several major airlines fly in and out of GRR, including American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, Allegiant, Southwest, and Frontier. Rental cars are available on-site at the airport, and rideshares like Uber should be an option for getting to the lodge. Flight
Another option when flying in is Bishop International Airport (FNT) in Flint, MI. It offers nonstop flights to many destinations via Allegiant Air, plus regional service via United Express and American Eagle. It’s a little further away than Grand Rapids, but still totally doable for guests who find convenient flights here. Rental cars are available right at the airport, and rideshares like Uber should be an option too. Flight
Detroit Metro is Michigan’s largest airport and offers the widest variety of flight options, including direct flights from most major cities. It’s served by nearly all major airlines, including Delta (which uses DTW as a hub), American, United, Southwest, JetBlue, Frontier, and Spirit. The drive to Michillinda Lodge takes about 3 hours, so this may be a good option if you find better flight deals or schedules here. Rental cars are available on site.
Flight
For guests flying in from farther away, Chicago can also be an option. O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is one of the busiest airports in the world and is served by every major airline, while Midway International Airport (MDW) is smaller and primarily served by Southwest, along with some other carriers. The drive from Chicago to Michillinda Lodge takes about 3.5–4 hours, depending on traffic. Both airports have full rental car services.
