Shopping on Bay Street
There are some great shops to pop in and out of here. Our personal favorites are Scout, Bay St. Outfitters, Lulu Burgess, the Chocolate Tree, Cook on Bay, the many art galleries, and of course a stroll along the water front park.
Spanish Moss Trail
Perfect spot for a walk, run, or bike ride. Easily accessible from downtown, just follow Bay Street to Depot Road, and you'll run right into it. At 10 miles long, you can get in as long of a jaunt as you please. The trail has been a passion project of Lily's dad for the last several years!
Hunting Island State Park Beach
Even in November, a walk along the beach here is unlike a beach walk anywhere else. It's a state park, so there is an entry fee. Follow signs to south beach access, and hang a right down the beach. Or to check out the light house, follow signs for north beach access.
