Sooo....Covid?

Answer

Yeah. That. In an effort to ensure the safety of our family and friends as a result of the current Delta Variant surge, we kindly require any guests yet to be vaccinated to receive a negative COVID-19 test result 24-hours prior to any wedding events (frankly, we encourage negative tests for all). Both Walgreens and CVS offer free rapid result testing via appointments available on their respective websites. If you feel sick, or know you've been recently exposed to someone with COVID, we ask you sit this one out - as much as it breaks our hearts. There will be masks available and plenty of hand sanitizer, and all wedding day events are outside with plenty of room to spread out. While we'd love to see every single one of you come celebrate with us, if you're not comfortable, we completely understand.

Did I hear you two moved? A month before your wedding?

Answer

Ha! Yes! We're crazy, what can we say? We're still in Charlotte, but moved into a house with a little more room to roam (let's be honest, for the pups to roam). Feel free to reach out for our new address, we'll also have it on some cards at the wedding.

Where is the wedding?

Answer

1 Hermitage Pointe, Beaufort, SC 29902. We'll be in the back yard of a private home. Details on parking and shuttles will be made clear closer to the wedding date, so check back here! Since the house itself will not be used for the reception, bathrooms will be provided in a...rolling format. Very fancy. Just follow the signs!

How do we get there?

Answer

We encourage everyone to take the shuttle that will be available from the Downtown Marina (across from the Sea Island Inn). Parking is a challenge, plus we don't want anyone worrying about driving! However, there will be some parking options available for locals, with a golf cart shuttle to the ceremony. More info to come...check back here closer to the day-of.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal - Garden Party Gala - Coastal Cocktail - call it what you want! No need to break out your tux or ballgown (or do, if you want!), but shake off your dusty party dresses and dress shoes! We'll be outside all evening, so bring a shawl, or be prepared to give up your suit jacket. As you choose your shoes for the evening, remember we'll be on grass all night - unless you're on the dance floor, that is.

Can my kids come to the wedding and reception?

Answer

While you KNOW how much we love all your little ones, we're keeping this to adults only (with the obvious exception of the kiddos in the wedding party). We'll be working on a list of babysitters you can call if you want to bring them to town for the weekend. But let's be honest - you've had a lot of time together recently - take the excuse for a getaway! Newborn's are more than welcome, just give us a heads up.

Will there be dinner?

Answer

Of course! We'll be sitting down to a family style dinner after cocktail hour. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know ASAP so we can make arrangements with the caterer.
