We are Delaware enthusiasts! Though we may be biased, we believe that Delaware is one of the most underrated states. This state which we have both come to consider home is full of beautiful scenery and plenty to do! However, if exploring DE isn’t your style, we are within easy day trip distance of several major cities. Our hope is that you each get to experience a little taste of our lives here when you visit for our wedding!

One of Genevieve's favorites! You would need a car to get here from Wilmington, but the Cajun-Mexican fusion food they serve is SO worth the short drive! You MUST get the Jambalaya! Genevieve's favorite dish is the empanadas. Jordan's favorite dish is the gumbo.

A classy and elegant speakeasy, straight out of the Prohibition era! They have live music many nights, as well as delicious signature drinks! If you're interested in going, reservations will most likely be needed. The entrance is around the back of Catherine Rooney's.

Genevieve has spent a lot of hours rehearsing and performing here! Unfortunately, no live shows are scheduled for the week of our wedding, but you can drive by to spot the iconic teal building!

The Everett

Where we got engaged! Also, The Dead Poet's Society was filmed at this theatre. It's about a 30 minute drive from Wilmington. Clue: High School Edition will be playing our wedding weekend, if you're interested in catching a show here. If you go, look out for the single black chair in the audience- that's where Robin Williams sat in the film!

The Playhouse on Rodney Square

Located in downtown Wilmington, part of the DuPont complex! The tour of Come From Away will be playing the weekend of our wedding, if you would like to catch a show. Jordan and I saw it on Broadway, and it was excellent!

Brandywine Zoo

A small little zoo, nestled just outside of downtown Wilmington. Tickets are very affordable! This could be a great activity for both kids and adults!

Wilmington & Brandywine Cemetery

For any weirdos like us who love cemeteries, this one is located right in downtown. Take a stroll to the river through all the historical stones and markers! This is also where we took some of our engagement photos!

Main Street

If you're looking to party or check out what the University of Delaware area has to offer, check out Main Street in Newark. There are a number of bars, restaurants, and other interesting shops to stop in. The Iron Hill Brewery where we first met is also located on Main Street!

Independence Hall

Longwood Gardens

We LOVE Longwood! Stroll through the expansive botanical gardens, which feature seasonal displays and lots of color! Don't forget to check out the conservatory and the carillon! Also, if you're hungry, try the Kennett Square mushroom soup!
