Is there a dress code?

Answer

Creative Black-Tie Optional: Women- gowns or semi formal/cocktail dresses in your choice of color. Men- suits or vests and ties in your choice of color (dress shirt and tie at minimum, please!) If you would like to match our color palette, aim for light and airy blues, sage, blush, crimson, or gold. Be creative! Be festive! Our wedding is inspired by Jane Eyre, so if you would like to wear something vintage with a Victorian flare, that is also very welcomed!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes, we do! It is #BraveEnoughForLove Our hashtag is the final lyrics of Jane Eyre: The Musical- the production we were both performing in when Jordan proposed! Not only does this hashtag set the scene for our Jane Eyre wedding theme, but it also reminds us that to commit to loving another person for a lifetime is a truly brave act.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have invited each guest by name because you are each important to us, and we cannot wait to share our day with you! If you have a question about dates or guests, please reach out!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kiddos, and plan to have some activities available during the reception to keep them occupied. Please bring them- just let us know so we can plan appropriately!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know well in advance about any food sensitivities so that the catering staff has ample time to accommodate your dietary needs.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking onsite at Brantwyn Estate.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we do not have any pre-arranged shuttle services at this time. We would recommend using Uber, Lyft, or carpooling if you have a safe & sober DD!

How do you have a Catholic wedding ceremony outside of a church?

Answer

We received special permission from the diocese and our officiant to celebrate our wedding ceremony at Brantwyn Estate, and are grateful to have this opportunity to marry in such a beautiful location!

Is your wedding a mass?

Answer

No, there will be no mass at our wedding, as we are marrying in a location outside of the church. We are, however, having a sacramental Catholic wedding ceremony. If you would like to attend mass while in Wilmington, there are a number of churches to choose from. For Catholic mass times, check https://masstimes.org .
