Attire: Greek Chic // Mediterranean Flair
We will be hosting a Welcome Event with dinner & drinks on the evening of June 25th! If you’ve arrived in Crete, we’d love for you to join us for a night of celebration. Enjoy freshly made Gyros, delicious Greek sides, and a selection of local Greek wine and beer as we gather to kickoff this celebration. The evening will take place at my parents' villa on the edge of Kaylves, located next to the Kiani Beach Resort. We’ll share the exact address as we get closer to the date, but rest assured, you won’t want to miss it!
7:00 pm
Attire: Cocktail
A private dinner the night before the wedding for our wedding party and family. If you’re invited, you’ve already received the details directly from us. If you haven’t heard from us about it, feel free to explore our list of recommended restaurants around Chania. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at the wedding the next day!
6:00 pm
Attire: Summer Formal
Please join us for the wedding ceremony at Agios Ioannis Greek Orthodox Church. It is a charming chapel and the wedding ceremony will take place directly in front of it (outdoors). Please keep in mind it will be warmer outside at this time in Greece. Complimentary shuttles will be provided for our guests from central Kaylves (pick-up location is in front of the Ekklisia Agia Paraskevi church) as well as one shuttle from downtown Chania (near Casa Delfino Hotel) to the chapel. Parking is also available at our reception venue if you wish to drive. You can also taxi directly to the venue (about 15 minutes) but reserve ample time as the chapel is hard to find. If you RSVP'd yes for the shuttle, we have set aside a place for you on one of the Kalyves shuttles. For the individuals who notified us about staying in Chania, we have set up one shuttle for you. We will send specific information with pick-up addresses, departure times, & shuttle groups soon.
Fri, Jun 27, 2025, 7:15 pm - Sat, Jun 28, 2025, 2:00 am
Attire: Summer Formal - Think light, but long formal gowns as well as lightweight suits with ties.
Following our ceremony at the church, we'll walk a short 100 meters to the reception venue. We'll have a cocktail hour with h'dourves, drinks, and live Greek music followed promptly with a seated dinner and dancing. There will likely be an "early" and "late" shuttle leaving from the venue to go back to the designated drop off location(s). If those times do not work, taxis can be called.
1:00 pm
Come hang with us one last time for a little R&R style beach day! Location TBD.
