Things To Do
Laura's Hometown Recommendations:
The Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City, Ruby Falls, or the Creative Discovery Museum for family fun. The Chickamauga Battlefield, Trail of Tears memorial, and Chattanooga Choo Choo are great for the history buffs in our friend group. There are plenty of outdoor activities to include kayaking, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, four-wheeling and horseback riding. You can go hang gliding in my hometown of Dunlap, TN - the hang-gliding capitol of the US. My favorite local hikes are Sunset Rock, Snoopers Rock, Rainbow Falls, and The Fiery Gizzard. For our more "I'm outdoorsy in that I drink on patios" friends, there are plenty of amazing options in town. State of Confusion, Taqueria Jalisco, City Cafe, Stir, The Whiskey Thief, Sushi Nabe (try the Crabtacular Pumpkin - just trust me), Aubrey's, Tony's Restaurant, and Alleia. For coffee I recommend Aretha Frankenstein's, Rembrandt's, Neidlov's, Milk and Honey, The Frothy Monkey, and The Stone Cup
