FAQs

Question

Can we accomodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Absolutely! Please just text any dietary restrictions to 423-718-0243 or include it on the RSVP so we can let our caterers know.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We hope you understand that our wedding will be adults only with the exception of children of the bridal party and immediate family. This will give all of our guests the opportunity to celebrate this special occasion without having to worry about little eyes, ears, and adventurous shenanigans (there's a pond and horses out back which can cause endless temptation for little adventurers). We do understand that a few of our close family and friends have just had babies or are currently pregnant so children under 2 are more than welcome. If this causes undue hardship, please talk with us prior to the day and we will see if we can make arrangements for you. Otherwise, we hope you will take this as an opportunity to enjoy a date night and hope the advanced notice gives you an opportunity to make arrangements ahead of time so that you can share in our special day!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will note that we have saved a certain number of seats for you-please stick within that number of guests as we have a limited capacity at the venue. Otherwise you can bring whoever you want!

Question

Should we bring a gift?

Answer

Gifts are not expected OR necessary, your presence at the celebration of our marriage is enough of a gift! Brandon and I are both established adults and have accumulated most of the things we need for our home. However - if you would like to give a nontraditional gift we would love it if you could contribute to our Honey Fund for our Honeymoon which is listed on our registry. We also added a few household items that we would eventually like to get (but are not necessary) for our guests who prefer to give more traditional wedding gifts. These are also linked on our registry.

Question

What is the closest city to stay in?

Answer

Chattanooga, TN is the closest medium sized city to stay in near our venue. It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to get to the venue from Chattanooga depending on traffic. Lookout Mountain is the next smaller town and is a few minutes away from the venue. There are multiple options for accommodations in the surrounding area such as boutique treehouses (I've heard great things about Bolt Farm Treehouses), rental cabins (Paradise Pointe), hotels near Kimball, some VERY cute bed and breakfasts on Lookout Mtn and various boutique hotel options in Chattanooga. Please look at our travel tab for more options on where to stay and how to get to the venue from surrounding areas. Our venue's website also has multiple suggestions for accomodations.

Question

Will there be transport to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accomodate transport to and from the wedding venue due to the somewhat rural location. Please make arrangements for a designated driver. There is plenty of parking at the venue and there will be a shuttle/golf cart available for use on the venue property.

Question

Is the venue ADA friendly?

Answer

The venue is ADA friendly and there is also a golf cart that our friends and family can use to shuttle back and forth if needed.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.
