Fast forward past hundreds of after school playdates, countless boba runs, and many trips to Disneyland and Japan they are now going on 23 years of friendship! (wow we are old đĽ˛) Katelyn considers herself insanely lucky to have a loyal and kindhearted friend like Alyssa to have her back growing up, and she wouldn't trade their sisterhood for anything in the world. Fun fact: When Katelyn picks up Alyssa from her house to go out she'll sometimes hide in her car so Alyssa's dog Koda doesn't see her and get mad at her for taking his mom away đ

Little sister of the bride and Katelyn's original other half 𩷠These two grew up stuck at the hip; watching Saturday morning cartoons together, being obsessed with K-pop, going on late night boba runs, and teaming up against their parents. She is the token little sister that humbles Katelyn (annoyingly so), while also being fiercely loyal and protective with Katelyn as Katelyn is with her. She is the best sister anyone could hope to have! Fun fact: 50% of their conversation is communicating using cartoon references. Usually Spongebob, Chowder, or Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

If Katelyn and Bill are ever alone together, you would most likely catch them out at 10pm on a weekday night eating fast food in each others cars and yapping. Since they became friends in high school, Bill has helped Katelyn find the true extrovert in her and with his encouragement, she's opened up to so many new and fun experiences she may have never done on her own such as sailing, playing pool, and clubbing! Fun fact: For a whole month after they first met in high school, Katelyn thought Bill's name was Phil. And she thought he was really weird. But because of his weirdness she found out that she too is also very weird, and they've been loyal friends ever since đ§Ą

Anna & Katelyn have been friends since middle school and currently live in the same neighborhood in Inner Richmond, SF! Spending time with someone as fun spirited as Anna is truly one of the highlights of Katelyn's week with their late night weekday grocery/errand runs, or browsing the entirety of Target with her. Sometimes multiple different Targets if they're feeling spicy. Fun fact: One time Anna and Katelyn went on Splash Mountain at Disneyland together and the impact of the splash made the front of their boat go underwater. They were wet all day and it gave Anna the excuse to buy new cute Mickey sweatpants that were dry đ

Ever since they became friends in high school, Katelyn has always thought of Sunny as one of the most kind and most unapologetically silly people she's ever known. Despite living all the way in Taiwan for the last decade, the two have always remained close and they often joke that Sunny may also be Katelyn's dentist one day! 𦷠Fun fact: During their trip to Seoul in 2017, Sunny and Katelyn experienced their first time stepping into a Korean supermarket and didn't come out for about 2 hours. $200 poorer they came back to their hostel with a crap ton of snacks and spent the rest of that evening packing all of the goodies they bought into their suitcases with no remorse whatsoever đââď¸

After getting to know each other in high school along with the rest of their shared friend group, Katelyn and Niyati found an equal shared obsession for scrolling on tumblr (iykyk) and fed off of each other's fangirl craziness and energy. Throughout the years they have bonded over their shared love for good eats, good vibes, and good company! They're both also planning their weddings at the moment and sharing all the tips and tricks they can with one another. Fun fact: Niyati was the person that fully convinced Katelyn to read Twilight for the first time and thus started her journey into loving fantasy books. They were both Team Jacob all the way đââď¸

Julia & Katelyn have been friends since middle school! Julia never fails to make Katelyn and everyone around her laugh (whether she means to or not đ) and Katelyn has always admired her ability to light up every room she walks into. Over the years, they've spent multiple occasions bonding over shopping, crafting, and the stuggles of being an eldest daughter. Fun fact: When the both of them used to attend community college together they would often (oops) ditch classes that didn't take attendance to go to target and get boba. Ryan & Katelyn's idea of fun on the weekends is touring open houses/model homes (with Alyssa!), browsing all the aisles of Homegoods, and getting hyped about Disney parks and merch! Since they met in high school, Katelyn has always known she could count on Ryan for a good time and also for the best advice! He is also their high school friend group's unofficial leader whether he likes it or not, as they're officially titled "Ryan's Tribe" âşď¸ Fun fact: They took a trip to Disneyland together solely to eat a chef course dinner at the Napa Rose because they're bougie đ (highly recommend btw it was delish!).

Laura & Katelyn first met in high school where they had chemistry together đ (chemistry class). Despite the last few years living across the country from one another, Katelyn and Laura have always remained close friends that remind each other of home đ Fun fact: In October 2023, Katelyn made a last minute decision to fly out to join Brandon on a business trip out to NC where Laura is currently living so that she could spend the day catching up with her over coffee + dinner. She was there for less than 24 hours but they both made the most of it!

Alex met Brandon in 7th grade along with the rest of the friends at lunch and in band. When Brandon returned early from college, they bonded a lot over late night Starbucks runs discussing hopes and dreams. Alex has seen Brandon at his lowest when an after party at San Diego Comicon got the best of him. She nursed him back to health with BBQ. Alexâs genuine soul, supportive personality, and repeated acts of true friendship earned her the title of Best Grooms-person.

It all started in 7th grade when Brandon joined lunch tables to play Scottâs homebrewed DnD adjacent creation called âThe Game.â From middle school to high school, they were a dynamic duo; from Wind Ensemble duets, to marching band bus seat buddies, to even winning an impossible honors history debate topic! Scott will also be officiating the wedding, as Brandon and Katelyn knew instantly that his collected and kind demeanor was the perfect fit.

Ashutosh and Brandonâs first conversations were met on their middle school lunchtime activity of Scott Millerâs âThe Game.â Since then, Ashutosh and Brandon grew closer, especially after college where you can find them still going to drink boba, talking about music, and eating really fancy desserts. They are currently planning to have âThe Croiss-aunletâ to see who has the best croissants from the South Bay to San Francisco.
Joey Pereira

Unlike many of âThe Gameâ crew, Joey and Brandon actually were neighbors from birth until Brandon moved to the other side of town. They were reunited in middle school, and Joey always challenges Brandon to be his best. Pretty sure Joey has won close to 90% of the games they have played together. You might find them overanalyzing the smallest details of something as mundane as how to walk on a sidewalk, as they both enjoy thinking. Maybeee slightly overthinking.

Anna and Brandon met at their middle school lunch table, where she was the friend group's unofficial photographer for social media. Anna and Brandon often had long talks over Mr. Pickle's sandwiches, where they enjoyed discussing world views and perspectives. Anna was also known for hosting the stargazing parties and making personalized birthday cakes for the friends! They both now live in San Francisco, and you will find them meeting up on a weekend for dinner in the Richmond District.

âSince they're both the same age, why donât our brothers hang out too?â is what started Mark and Brandonâs friendship since 1st grade. After the one playdate, they were an inseparable duo through elementary school where nobody could tell them apart as the only two Asian kids in the class. Though they attended different middle schools, they continued to hang out a few times a year til now. From Mark destroying Brandon with his 6 Lv 100 Umbreons, to Star Wars Battlefront 2 sleepovers, to âBot Lane Synergyâ in League of Legends, to now where they get dim sum together, they always have each otherâs back.
Eric Curlett

All it took was getting spiked by Marth in the UC Santa Barbara dorms to have Eric steal Brandonâs heart. Eric, Trevor, and Brandon lived in the same dorm their first year at UCSB, and you would find Eric and Brandon staying up late to enjoy games together often. In League of Legends, Brandon would play the Support role to aid Ericâs Carry role which would occasionally test their friendship. Since then, they continue to play games online and still occasionally stay up discussing games and eSports until the sunrises like old times.
Trevor Ayers

Roommates part of their first year at UC Santa Barbara, Trevor and Brandon bonded quickly over shared interests like anime and games. It wasnât long before Trevor, Eric and Brandon formed a trio in their dorm. Once, they ordered a $56 XL pizza from Dominio's AFTER a 50% discount code! Since their time as roommates, they stay in contact through Discord and playing games together. Trevor also introduced some of the most hilarious musical content online to Brandon such as Mark Rebillet and Tom Cardy.
Valerie Yim

Brandonâs Little Big Sister. She has been covering for Brandon since the day he was born. Some siblings arenât close, but Valerie and Brandon share everything with each other. Youâll find them talking on the phone often, as they both share their stories on her teaching and his training classes. The last two years, they have shared in the tradition of flying to New York every Super Bowl weekend to have a whirlwind trip with their significant others.
