How we met: Working at the Lego Store together! Though we may have unknowingly met in high school since our friend groups were both in band and hung around the same circles. How we started dating: Brandon realized he really enjoyed spending time with Katelyn after working night shifts together at the Lego Store. He thought Katelyn was cute, and Katelyn thought he was a really really great FRIEND 🙃. Even as Brandon made the effort to hang out with her more and more since they also attended Las Positas Community College together, Katelyn thought to herself "Wow, Brandon is such a nice guy. So open-minded and caring. I'm glad that I get to call him my FRIEND." After months of pining and hanging out, Katelyn finally got the hint that Brandon like-liked her after he paid for their lunch one time and she said "what is this, a date?" and he responded with "...I don't know, is it?" Katelyn was sent spiraling into a fit of overthinking for days after he said that to her, until he finally set the record straight and asked her out officially. They've been grossly obsessed with each other ever since. How long we've been dating: We've been together since October 2015, so almost 10 years now! 😮‍💨 Our favorite things to do together: Going to coffee shops to try fun lattes, traveling to new and different cities, walking around Golden Gate park in SF, shopping for figurines/merch, then decorating our place with said figurines/merch afterwards, trying new restaurants/eateries, going thrifting, playing board games, GOING TO DISNEYLAND, watching romcoms/slice of life shows/cartoons, and going to the farmer's market on the weekend! What we do for work: Brandon works at SFO as a United Airlines ramp agent trainer ✈️ and Katelyn works from home as a graphic designer in the biotech and pharma industry 👩‍💻 Where we currently live: San Francisco, CA 🌁
