How We Met

Friend of a Friend

One could say the story of Brandon and Chloe’s began at the University of Pittsburgh during an IEEE club meeting as that was the moment they first saw each other. Brandon was a sophomore and Chloe was a freshman at the time. They did not truly get to know each other until a year later their Brandon offered to drive his roommate, Tori, and her friend, Chloe, to a social event. Brandon was nervous as there was a pretty girl in his car and Chloe was embarrassed from hitting her head off the window as she was getting into the car. From there on they started seeing each other more as their friend groups slowly collided when Tori and Chloe became roommates. At every friend board game night or hang out, they looked forward to talking to each other to slowly getting each other’s numbers. To texting every day and playing game pigeon to ensure the conversations would keep going when there was nothing new to talk about anymore. After a couple of months of talking, on December 5th, 2021, they had their first date at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

Engagement Story

3 Year Anniversary Dinner

December 5th 2024, our 3 year anniversary, we had reservations to the Grand Concourse. The three course meal was lovely with a start of calamari to roast duck then finishing with an odd, yet yummy, banana foster creme brulee. A table with a view of city lights is the most romantic during the holiday season. To see the lights better, we went to ride the incline nearby. Slightly flurries sprinkled down as we rushed out of the cold. "Feels like 9 degrees" is what my weather app said. We rode up the incline and he gave me his jacket for a blanket since I was only in a dress. We enjoyed the view and took photos of the city. Surprisingly at the top, we tried to go to the landing for a better look. However, it was far too cold and we immediately took the same incline back down. As we descended, Brandon popped the question.
